The tour begins with a visit to a centuries-old olive plantation, where participants will learn about olive harvesting and the traditional tools used in this process, providing a truly unique experience!
- Casabermeja - The tour continues with a drive to an Andalusian country house featuring its own oil mill. Here, participants will discover the oil production process and explore an 18th-century stone olive mill, gaining insight into historical olive oil production methods. The experience concludes with an olive oil tasting to stimulate appetites before lunch.
- Alfarnate - The journey then delves deeper into the Montes de Málaga (Malaga Mountains) for lunch at the oldest inn in Andalusia, where guests can savor a typical “plato de los montes” (a traditional dish of the area). Known as El Museo del Bandolero (the Bandit Museum), this location is rich in history and charm.
Following lunch, the tour visits the villages of Alfarnate and Alfarnatejo, nestled in what is referred to as “los Pirineos de la Axarquía” (the Pyrenees of the Axarquia). These picturesque villages, surrounded by olive trees, offer a landscape that is a complete contrast to the coastal views.
