Experience the stunning desert landscapes while driving a 4X4 Jeep. Push the boundaries of adventure and thrill on this remarkable journey through the desert. The tour includes a drive through Santiago, a vibrant and historic small town, home to one of Cabo’s oldest missions. Next, visit Fox Canyon to find an oasis in the tropical desert. Stroll along a river, explore natural water slides, and enjoy a refreshing swim at a waterfall. After such an exciting adventure, satisfy your hunger with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring authentic Mexican cuisine. There’s still more fun to be had on the return journey before the tour concludes.

Minimum age is 6 years old
Minimum age to drive is 18 years old
If you wish to drive a Jeep, you must present a valid driver’s license
Please bring a towel, tennis, sandals, sunscreen and sunglasses
The price is per jeep, based on maximum 1 - 3 passengers. Five jeeps are available.
The activity lasts 6.5 hours including roundtrip transportation.
Since this is a private tour, you can decide whether or not to complete the full activity.
Lunch is included. We’ll take you to a local restaurant, offering 100% Mexican dishes such as fish tacos, chicken, beef, salsa, guacamole, tortilla chips, and refreshing flavored water. We also have a vegetarian option with salads, quesadillas, beans, rice, etc. Lunch is included but optional, so there is no discount offered on the activity if you choose not to go for lunch.
As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain and road cuts.
For a full refund, cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
Depending on availability, we use either Jeeps or Ford Broncos.

Great waterfall experience with Maury. - Maury Sanchez was a knowledgeable, friendly, engaging guide. The trip started with pickup at our resort in an air conditioned van. We connected to an air conditioned well equipped jeep. We traveled to the mountains initially on the main road but quickly went off road. Travelled through Santiago with a brief stop at the site of the old mission. Arrived at the preserve where we did a short hike down to an amazing waterfall. We swam there for about an hour and surprisingly had the whole preserve to ourselves. Maury set up shade and took beautiful photos of my boyfriend and I swimming under the waterfall in this amazing place. After the refreshing swim, we traveled to a local restaurant for authentically prepared fresh fish. Don’t miss this amazing trip or this amazing guide!
