- CaboTrek - Embark on a 3-hour snorkeling adventure to witness the Mobula Manta Rays migration in the waters of Baja California Sur. The journey begins at 9am from our shop at the Cabo San Lucas marina. During this excursion, participants will visit the iconic Arch of Cabo and the sea lion colony. Following this, the search for large schools of Mobulas begins. Once located, there will be multiple opportunities to enter the water and observe these magnificent creatures. For those not interested in snorkeling, the Mobulas can still be seen as they leap 6-8 feet out of the water, offering excellent photography opportunities. The tour includes soft drinks, snacks, all fees, and all necessary equipment for the activity.

Baja California Sur boasts an incredible array of wildlife, with the Mobula Ray migration being a particularly spectacular event to witness. Thousands of rays move in unison, seeking food and eventually a tranquil place to mate. Courtship behaviors are also frequently observed. These relatively small creatures, which can grow up to 6-7 feet in wingspan, are renowned for their ability to leap out of the water, reaching heights of 6 to 8 feet! They travel in massive groups and are present in our region only during specific times of the year (May-July). This offers a fantastic snorkeling opportunity for adventure seekers!

Great day on the water - Had a great day with Aurora, Jared, and Captain Coco on the water. We were unable to find the mobula rays because...wildlife, but the crew adjusted and made sure we had a memorable experience on the water. Highly recommend!

The best! - Second time booking with Cabo Trek and it was great! We had Vanu? as our guide and Freddy as Captain. Love how knowledgeable and informative our guide was with marine life and sea life while snorkeling. Our captain was friendly and knew the best spots. Will definitely book with them again when in Cabo!!

Memorable trip — turtle and sharks! - Although we didn’t see any rays (end of season) our guide and captain still made our trip a very special experience, answering all my many questions about the sea life and taking us to Chileno Bay to snorkel after a boat ride searching for rays. We were able to see white tip reef sharks including babies, a turtle, a lobster, and many fish thanks to our guide’s good eye. It was a memorable trip!

Amazing - Aurora was an amazing and knowledgeable guide! We saw eagle rays, a turtle, sharks, fish, and coral reefs. Got great photos with the arch. We were also able to see the mobula rays jumping although they were too fast for us to see underwater. I would definitely do this tour again!

Definitely Recommend! - This tour was amazing! We immediately came upon some rays, and they were so beautiful. Our tour guide vane and captain Adrien took great care of us and brought us to amazing spots. If you are looking to see the rays or go on any other excursion, go through Cabo trek tours!

Amazing trip! - This trip was amazing! Our marine biologist was excellent and taught us all about the different types of fish. All gear was provided, trip felt very safe, and we saw some amazing wildlife. I would absolutely book again with this tour.
While we ultimately only saw Mobula rays from the boat due to a large cruise ship passing by that made it unsafe to snorkel, we still got some excellent snorkeling time at a reef where we saw some amazing fish and wildlife.

Incomparable experience but they charge a looot of money for it - I think the experience is amazing, I did get to see the Rays and it is an incomparable experience, but I do think they do charge so so much for what you get, and it doesn't matter if you are a national still gonna pay a kidney for it but at the end it was worth it.

A great experience and a beautiful day on the water. - We had a beautiful day on the water with Cabo Trek. Our guide Aurora was very knowledgeable and ensured that a great day. The highlight of our trip was snorkeling on the reef at Chileno Bay. The sea life on the reef was some of the best that I have ever encountered with many species of fish, eagle rays and even a few sharks.
We hunted for the Morbula Rays and unfortunately did not encounter them. That would have been amazing, but they weren’t anywhere to be found on our tour this day.
I highly recommend Cabo Trek for your visit. They did an excellent job from start to finish.

An amazing day on the water!! - Our snorkeling trip with Cabo Trek was wonderful! Our guide Aurora was very educated and also very interested and excited in what she was doing. We love getting guides that are in love with the ocean! Our captain Adrian was awesome at spotting the rays on the surface and made us feel safe as he navigated the ocean. We went out to find the smaller Mobula rays that move in huge groups. Unfortunately they were not very active on that day. But we saw sooo much more! Got to see some huge Mobula Rays, a cute sea turtle and a sting ray that our guide Aurora has been seeing in the area recently! A few eels and plenty of other smaller ocean fish! I was very happy to go to a new snorkeling area as we had already been to pelican rock and were looking for something a little different. We had a wonderful day out on the boat and hope that next time we come visit we can swim with the big groups of mobulas! It was a wonderful day and I highly recommend this company even if you arent sure what animals you would like to see. They are very good at knowing the area and where to take you to get some sightings in!

Beautiful Giant Rays! - Incredible trip with Aurora and Adrian! We went out searching for pods of Mobula rays to swim with but instead we unexpectedly ended up seeing several giant Mobula and stopping to watch them. Beautiful! We also saw a sea turtle and went to a great snorkle spot where we got to meet a very special Eagle Ray friend. Aurora was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent guide- we learned so much! Adrian is a great boat captain and did an amazing job of responding to all our sightings and getting us to just the right spot at the right time. We definitely recommend any tour with these two!
