It’s a must do! - One day Instagram suggested me a video from Alex. And 3 years later here we are swimming with hundreds of mobulas and pilot whales. Best birthday gift from the sea! We were only there for a week and the team did their best so we could have a safari day with them. Alex is an amazing guide, happy to share his knowledge and passion and giving advices along the way so we could have the best encounter possible. We were all in understanding that we are in the animals environnement and must respect that, an encounter with any animal is always a chance and should not be taken for granted. So we were super comfortable that Alex made sure of that and still ensured all along that we had the best experience! The whole day and team was great, the equipment is great too, and I almost forget, the ceviche was delicious 🤗 I would recommend 100% and can’t wait to have the opportunity to experience it again!

great thing to do in cabos - i knew about the company from their instagram content, and they did live up to the experience. really good guides, awesome at spotting and finding animals. never been so close to the whales and really no harrassing. the snorkell was in epic places as well, the outside part of the chileno reef and above a mobula rays school. couldn't recommend this enough if you get to cabos.

Just go - I can only recommend Alex’s mobula and cetacean safari. First of all, his team did everything they could to organize an expedition that accommodated our availability, knowing we were coming from far away. The expedition itself was simply amazing — not only because we witnessed unique marine life, but also because Alex and the captain created the best possible conditions to enjoy it, in an ethical way that was mindful of the animals’ wellbeing. I also really appreciated all the trivia Alex shared during the expedition, which helped us better understand the local marine life. All in all, I left feeling incredibly happy, a little bit smarter, and with memories that will last a lifetime. Five stars for Alex and his crew!

Whales & dolphins & sharks, oh my! - What a special experience! We saw dolphins, whales, a shark and more. Nick was so knowledgeable and made our entire outing a real treat.

Spectacular - The experience with Alex and his team was spectacular from start to finish. Amazing wildlife adventure. Dolphins, Mobula Rays, a Mako Shark and a Blue Whale…what else can one ask for? Highly recommended.

Navigating into the amazing biodiversity of Baja California Sur - I have had one the most amazing experiences of my life during this trip. It was really important to me to find an operator which would really put animals welfare first and Apex Ocen was definitely exactly what I was looking for. Their ethical approach and interactions allowed us to see a Bryde Whale, a Blue Whale, Humpback Whales, Orcas, pilot whales, thousands of mobula rays, sea lions, dolphins, a mako shark. We had the best guides, Alex, Nik and Andy are so experienced and knowledgeable about marine life and that was the key to all of our incredible encounters. I have not just seen sooo many marine animals but also have learnt so much about them and the importance of preserving this beautiful treasure places like La Ventana where you can find a crazy marine biodiversity. Apart from being amazing guides, this guys are incredible videographers and photographers which also brings the whole experience to another level. The expedition includes a great beautiful accommodation and amazing Mexican food, you will never be hungry. Thank you Alex, Nik and Andy for a life changing experience.

I’m ruined! 😭😭😭 - What can I say? The level of professionalism and humanity from Alex, Nik, Fernando, and Adriana was unparalleled. Their passion, care, and expertise on the ocean allowed us to have a once in a lifetime trip. We got to see orcas, sea lions, mobula fevers, a bryde, blue, and humpback whales! While this IS amazing- I would like to add we did a 5 day excursion (about 30+ hours) on the water so there is a lot of time searching and cruising for these wonderful creatures. Apex Ocean Divers (AOD) respects the will of the ocean and doesn’t force interactions on the animals. In fact- there was an anticipated dive with orcas that was literally cancelled within seconds of getting into the water because our guide saw the animals were already stressed from the flock of boats following them. I share this to give honest insight on what you are agreeing to when you support a sustainable and responsible touring company like AOD. This mindset is what makes them stand out ethically AND the proof is in the constant number of positive interactions they have as a company with wildlife and majority of customer alike. On our tour we would camp our boat outside of the hoopla of other touring companies and it was spectacular to see how comfortable the whales and marine life would be in coming to us or popping up close to where we were. I cannot recommend AOD enough- they have truly ruined me (in the best way 🤭) for future expeditions by setting the bar incredibly high. I wouldn’t want it any other way. Thank you now and forever.

Indescribable life moment - As all encounters with wildlife can be unpredictable, I managed to keep my expectations neutral. Luckily this excursion was as perfect as it could be. I was hesitant at first with the price but as each day passed, it kept being worth every single cent. For 5 days we kept being surprised with our ocean’s life. The respect for us and most importantly the animals is what I dream this world had more off. I regret nothing, I am thankful for every moment I got to experience. Thanks Alex, Nick, Andy, and Fernando for providing such a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended experience to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure! - I had an incredible experience on the ocean safari! We saw a majestic blue whale, playful sea lions, and even swam with orcas and mobulas. It exceeded my expectations, not just because of the amazing animals we encountered, but also due to the professionalism of Nick and the crew. They guided us with care and helped ensure we were respectful towards the wildlife. I went with my mom, and the crew were wonderful with her as well.
