Tranquil beaches - Excellent trip and very courteous staff. Your trip to Baja California is not complete without visiting the tranquil beaches of Ballandra and La Paz. I was very impressed by how clean the water is. Definitely recommend this to fellow travelers.

Balandra Beach - We purchased the three stop tour that included Bolandra Beach, La Paz, Todos Santos. We paid $125 per passenger. They had good communication, messaging us through WhatsApp plus email. First stop was Bolandra beach. Medium passenger van picked us up from our hotel Sunset Beach at 5:45 AM. We received a breakfast sandwich and a juice for the trip. It was about a 2 Hour hrs to the beach. Once we arrived, they give you the option to rent an umbrella and two chairs for 350 pesos, I don’t think you truly need it because you spend more time in the water walking around plus if you arrive in AM the sun isn’t as intense. We spent an hour and 25 minutes there which was just about right. They do have portable clean bathrooms. They have a cool hiking trail. The water is crystal clear with lots of visible small fish swimming. Next drive was to a public beach that has a lot of vendors. The water is still clear, but the sand is rough. Spent about an hour there. Next stop was included lunch at a near by restaurant, you have the option of picking between a hamburger, fish tacos, chicken fajitas. Food was good. Next stop was the downtown/boardwalk of La Paz. Very pretty very clean very safe walkable region. Lots of charming character. Spent about an hour there. We had a hour and a half drive to Todos Santos. Neat small town with Hotel California as main attraction. Stop was about an hour. Had about another 45 minute drive back to Cabo. Overall trip was about 12 hours. Our driver who went by the name of Ed, very knowledgeable, gives you some good history background. Overall, it was a nice trip that felt like a good value. Would recommend it.

Great tour - Nice way to see other parts of Mexico. Learn cultural things along the way to beautiful beaches. Ed had so much knowledge about the history of La Paz and Todos Santos. Very interesting.

What a fantastic day! - Everything about this tour is fantastic. From the 2 beautiful beaches to the historical towns/cities of La Paz and Todos Santos. Could not ask for a better day, our guide Ed was wonderful. He gave us a day full of history and insight into the beautiful Mexican sites we were able to see. Added bonus we spotted a few migrating grey whales on the ride back to the resort. Did I mention how fantastic our guide Ed was?

This is a LONG day, be... - This is a LONG day, be prepared. Depending on when you are picked up/dropped off, you may add up to an hour on either side. The pickup/drop off was a little confusing for me. I submitted my pickup, but the morning of, was called by my guide and told to walk somewhere else. He told me to hurry, so I did, but then ended up standing outside in the cold for at least 10 minutes in the dark. I waa finally picked up, but there were a few more pickups before we left the Cabo area. The guide, Ed, was knowledgeable and spoke both English and Spanish well. His explanations in Spanish were much more in depth than those in English, and sometimes it seemed like the English speakers were an after thought. I understand enough Spanish to follow most of what he was saying, but a couple other English speakers on the tour said they felt slighted. There is a bagged breakfast (sandwich, granola bar and juice) provided when you get on the bus, as well as a sit down lunch included (many food options, including vegetarian options), so you won’t go hungry. Ed also made several recommendations throughout the day about snacks or things to try. There isn't any info provided when you reach each city - you’re dropped off and told where and what time to meet, so if you’re looking for more of a guided tour, this isn’t it. The guide will explain some things on the bus, but other than that, you’re left to explore on your own. My biggest grievance was that in La Paz, the tour attendees were told to walk approx 7 blocks to a meeting point and to avoid any confusion, the meeting point would be sent to them. I had to text multiple times to get the meeting point, and heard from others they received nothing (which is why I found them in the wrong location). So follow through from Ed was a bit lacking and disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed the tour but it was a very long day and a lot of it spent in transportation. Nice to do once but wouldn’t do it again.
