- Mariposas de Mindo - Our first stop will be the Mindo butterfly farm, which boasts a wide variety of multicolored butterfly species. We will receive a brief introduction from the local guide before entering the facilities, where we can observe a diverse range of butterflies and their development process. Additionally, we will have the chance to interact with them through the food available on-site, making for an unforgettable experience.
- Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve - Enjoy hiking in the cloud forest and a ride on the tarabita.
- Santuario de Cascadas - At this stop, we will visit the waterfalls, beginning with a tarabita crossing that offers a stunning view of Mindo’s characteristic cloud forest. We will then hike through the forest for approximately two hours, making several stops to enjoy the waterfalls and their crystal-clear waters.
- El Quetzal de Mindo with Chocolate Tour - Our final visit will be to the Mindo chocolate tour, where we can observe the cacao process and taste this delicious treat. Before returning to Quito, we will savor an exquisite typical local lunch. The return journey to Quito will take an additional two hours.

The tour will commence early in the morning, featuring multiple stops throughout the journey. The first destination is San Tadeo, where participants can observe various species of hummingbirds and other local birds. Following this, there is an optional traditional breakfast in Mindo.
The next visit is to the Mindo butterfly sanctuary, offering insights into the diverse species residing there, along with their life cycles and reproduction processes.
Subsequently, a hike through the Mindo-Nambillo cloud forest to the renowned waterfalls is planned, lasting about an hour and a half. At the waterfalls, there is an opportunity to swim, so bringing a swimsuit is recommended.
The tour concludes with a visit to the chocolate tour, providing an understanding of the chocolate-making process from cacao.
On the return journey to Quito, a stop at the Intiñan Museum may be included if time permits. Please note that admission fees are not covered.
