• San Tadeo Birding - This location offers the opportunity to observe various species of hummingbirds and some typical birds of Mindo.
• Mariposas de Mindo - Our first stop will be the Mindo butterfly farm, which boasts a wide variety of multicolored butterfly species. A guide will provide a brief introduction before we enter the facilities to observe the diverse butterflies and their development process. Visitors can also interact with them through the food available on-site, making for an unforgettable experience.
• Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve - Enjoy hiking in the cloud forest and a ride on the tarabita.
• Santuario de Cascadas - At this stop, we will visit the waterfalls, beginning with a tarabita crossing that offers a stunning view of Mindo’s characteristic cloud forest. We will then hike through the forest for approximately two hours, pausing to appreciate the waterfalls and their crystal-clear waters.
• El Quetzal de Mindo with Chocolate Tour - Our final visit will be to the Mindo chocolate tour, where we can observe the cacao process and taste this delicious treat. Before returning to Quito, we will enjoy a delightful local lunch. The return trip to Quito will take an additional two hours.
