The third stop is the Butterfly House, where hundreds of butterflies, including the magnificent Blue Morphus, flutter freely around. Visitors can learn about their life cycle and observe all stages, from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis. Following this, a visit to a local orchidist is planned. A knowledgeable guide will showcase the remarkable diversity of Ecuadorian orchids, many of which are unique to the region. The variety of sizes, shapes, and colors, including species as tiny as a pinhead, is truly astonishing.
