I was looking for an escape room experience that I could take my 8 year old to for her birthday and Puzzle Workshop's "Trapped In Time" scenario was perfect! There were 4 of us and we escaped with a few minutes to spare after taking just one hint. We were really pleased with the way the puzzles were presented and how the story played out. The briefing before entering the room was very clear and definitely helped us to not waste any time with elements in the room that weren't part of the puzzles. We're already planning our next visit to Puzzle Workshop! Thank you for a wonderful family bonding experience!
The service was great! The room was fun and challenging! Overall great experience
The staff was so nice and helpful. Games were fun and so was the theme.
We loved the experience and had a wonderful time. We were just not completely satisfied because we were unable to complete the task in one hour. It would have been great to continue. Since this was considered a "beginner" level and it was our first time doing anything like it, it would have been nice to feel successful in the end. Perhaps beginner levels could have 1.5 hours... :) Thanks for a great time.
This was our first escape room. We loved that we could receive unlimited clues. They didn’t make us feel like idiots because the clue was so obvious! Lol. We would do it again in a heartbeat!
The customer service here was great. The lady in front was really friendly and helpful. The room was a lot of fun and had some great challenges.
We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves! We had a huge party and the puzzle workshop was kind enough to accommodate everyone and different rooms. Such a fun night!!
Was a very well designed escape room, but it was so linear it prevented the group from working on other side puzzles and created a bottleneck. When asked if anything was located above eye level I was told no so one step was rather delayed as we didn’t look up. Overall it was a fun experience. The last lock to exit also was too quick before rejecting. And with no pad to write down numbers it made it frustrating sometimes
The room was great. However, the hostess was a bit unenthusiastic. And when we saw the Escape Room passport displayed, we thought that was really cool and wanted to participate in that. So we asked, and she asked how many we wanted. We said four, as we had four different households represented in our group. So she had us fill them out, sign them, etc. without explaining anything about them -- we thought they were just a free promotional thing. But then AFTER we had already all written in them, etc. she told us they were $10 each! We might not have got them at all if we had known they had a cost, and definitely would not have asked for FOUR. We had to pay $40 then, because we didn't know they had a cost and had already filled them all out. It was a shame, because we loved the room and we left with a bit of a sour taste in our mouth.
The quality and production value of the room was one of the best Ive seen and the puzzles and concepts were unique and original. However the staff was very disorganized and fumbled a lot.
Gamemaster seemed rushed to go home as this was last escape room of the day. An update to let us know that time was running out and that we were still quite a ways away from finishing would have been nice. Knowing what % we completed would have been nice as well.
Had a great time but it would have been better if our guide made it more clear there were two puzzle rooms, that would have paced our progress much beyter
Well designed room. McKayla, the game master we had that day had perfectly timed advice. We missed the cog-board in the first drawer so she helped us out there but it wasn't over-bearing.
Fun experience, but due to two faulty lock we last 20 minutes which was very frustrating....They need to update their equipment...
It was really fun and Steven was super helpful!
I brought five 10 and 11-year-old boys to the Trapped in Time room for a birthday party. They LOVED it. There was teamwork, intrigue, anticipation, and fun! It was not easy - mom and dad were there with them and we still asked for hints to move us along. But it was not "hard," or frustrating at all. The boys talked about how great it was all the way home. We will definitely be back!
This was a lot of fun. We all enjoyed it and kids want to do another one soon
The puzzle was too linear. There were several times people were standing around with nothing to do while a couple people worked a problem.
We had a fun time coming together to solve the puzzle. Thank you for having us and creating such a fun place and puzzle. :) The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I think it would be good to know either how many rooms you have to work through or maybe what % of the puzzle was complete as we were working it. We wasted time thinking it was one room and we were almost done when we should have been rushing. It was a downer/less fun for the remainder when the surprise second door popped open and we knew we were going to run out of time, no question.
The room had technical difficulties with the last clue. Even though they assured us we would have solved it in time, it took a little satisfaction away from the escape.
Fun thing to do with family and friends! Loved it!
My 14 year old had a birthday party at your location. They enjoyed yourself, but would have liked a game a little easier so that they could have escaped.
Fun. Clever. Exciting
Theming and customer service was great. Puzzles were fun and interesting but it'd be nice if there was a larger quantity of puzzles to work on at once. Multiple times are group of 5 was gathered around just one remaining puzzle. Overall very fun though!
Too difficult! Also, the rooms were very humid. More A/C would be appreciated! The rooms, however, were decorated very well, and had the perfect ‘80’s look!
Overall experience was excellent. We got out with 15 mins to spare. For most of the group it was their first time. Some of us had done the CSI Hollywood a few weeks ago and didn't get out. Maybe that helped us? Or maybe we just had the right combination of brains this time? Entirely possible. We also got lucky on a couple of items. Maybe difficulty level was just right?
Some puzzles didn’t seem to contribute. Game needs better coherence, mane more variety of puzzles to solve.
Lots of fun...just wish we were better at it! Def coming back!
LOVE LOVE LOVE. Great experience. Steven was amazing!
Everything was a lot of fun
We were told to put our personal belongings (purse) in a cart outside the room, but not to worry, it would come in the room with us. Next thing we know, we are in the room and all of our personal belongings were kept outside and the door was locked. We should not have been lied to. Our wallet/id/cash/credit card should have been able to stay with us. Please respond.
Nice Venue, knowledgeable staff, good puzzles
Puzzles were fun and interesting. The game master pays close attention and is ready to assist. Overall, a lot of fun.
At times, we had to actively open the door and search for the assistant as they were not responding to our requests.
The story was a bit confused. It talked about a college student. But he was a college student in 1987 so the story should have been about a scientist in his 50's. Working on a time machine. That would have jived better with the actor and the set.
