Palos Verdes Offshore Reefs & Avalon Wreck Diving Trip
Explore the Palos Verdes coastline, which is home to many excellent offshore reefs that are perfect for sightseeing. Snap incredible photographs as you look out for all sorts of wildlife.
What You Will Do
- Come aboard a spacious ship for a day trip to dive the Palos Verdes area, exploring the wreck of the Avalon
- Journey along the Palos Verdes coastline to spot underwater arches and excellent reefs that are both shallow and deep with lots of structure and plenty of kelp
- Swim around the Avalon, a triple-deck passenger ship which sunk on July 18, 1960 and now sits 70 feet below the surface
- Three dives
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and air
No dive equipment is supplied and all destinations are subject to change depending on the weather and sea conditions. The dive boats can usually make the trips in any kind of weather, rain or shine. Sometimes the weather may not look so good, but most times there are still places to dive. The Captain of the boat being used for a particular trip has the final decision, with concern in providing for the safety and wellbeing of the passengers and crew aboard. If the Captain or Channel Islands Dive Adventures cancels a trip, then refunds will be given. Never consider a trip cancelled until advised by the Captain or Channel Islands Dive Adventures.
