The games itself was very challenging and fun. My only complaint was that it was so cold in the room it was hard to concentrate. I will definitely go again to another “puzzle” and I will bring a sweater!!
We enjoyed the puzzles, but there were way too many puzzles for the time allotted and the host couldn't solve one of the puzzles at the end (she knew the gist of it, but not the exact answer). But the hosts were very friendly, we liked the puzzles that we had time to solve, and overall enjoyed the experience!
Extremely challenging but so fun! We did not complete the room but the game master was awesome and helped explain where we could have done better. We will definitely be back for other rooms!
Fun room with challenging puzzles and friendly staff
Well we lost the game on a technically had done what was required but the magnet didn't open the door so we lost 15min trying to figure out what we had already done over again. Other than that it was a great experience really enjoyed the night thanks
First time doing an escape room for 2 of the 3 of us. It was challenging and the staff was AMAZING. She made it enjoyable. We would definitely do another room with your team.
Staff was excellent and super nice and the rooms were so fun!
It was our first time there and it was difficult to get started. Felt like without the clues it was nearly impossible. I am sure when people go the second time it is easier.
This was my second escape room with Puzzle Workshop (first was The Illuminati). Both rooms had great puzzles and were very enjoyable to do. The Illuminati was a bit more challenging but partially because we only had two people doing it (which I really liked that Puzzle Workshop doesn't combine you with other groups -- however, you have to book three tickets minimum, which I was happy to do to not be combined with strangers). Full disclosure, they do have a cancellation fee of $30 if cancelled 48 hours or before -- so make sure you book the correct time you need for your group as this can dampen your experience of the room. Except for the cancellation fee, Kym provided great customer service over the week I was in communication with her via email and phone trying to find the right day and time for the reservation.
Fun, exciting, suspenseful... had a fabulous first time for an escape room. Clever puzzles that really kept us on our toes. Will definitely do it again.
Friendly staff, good props and puzzles, intriguing story.
CSI Hollywood was a good room with some unique puzzles, and others so obvious they were staring you in the face which made us overthink it. The downside was that when we first entered the room the file we were given to write the kidnapper and location were written in by the previous players and hadn't been erased so that part was spoiled for us before we even started. It didn't change the play of the game too much but definitely dampered our mood.
We all had a lot of fun. Wish we had more time to finish it. It says it's for 8 and up so we brought some younger kids with us. I guess it is doable for younger kids but wouldn't have enough time. We want to come back and try the other rooms with just adults to see if we can complete it.
We had plenty of fun and the puzzles were creative but perhaps a bit more degree of difficulty or perhaps more complicated puzzles and ways to solve would be interesting.
We had a great time. Didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It was challenging and rewarding when we figured things out. I recommended it to friends on Facebook and can't wait to go again and try another room.
Best Escape room we have done to date!
This was an amazing experience. Very challenging brain twisters and exciting turns.
It would have been nice to have had a thorough run through in terms of the solutions to the puzzle after the time ran out.
My group and I thoroughly enjoyed CSI! I was a bit weary at first as it seemed like a small facility and the intro video was very corny. However, once inside and discovering that it was a progression room made all the difference. It was thrilling and despite not making it out in time we all had a ton of fun. The only criticism I have is that it seemed to take a couple of minutes for the staff to respond when we wanted a clue. In other escape rooms we have done there was always a way to notify the staff that we wanted a clue but I do not recall there being one for this. Overall it was a great experience and we plan to go back!
It was a lot of fun and very challenging!
Friendly staff. It was challenging with unique puzzles. Great story line, and bit creepy (which is a positive).
The workers were very nice and the puzzle room was challenging! 7 of us escaped in 50 mins (in CSI room)
In other escape rooms, there is a logical pathway to "escape". We felt like this puzzle didn't have that. For example: in other ones you need a "key" to physically open the room. The only way you can do that is if you get all the steps done prior. In CSI, you're just left guessing what's needed to complete in order for the door to swing open.
Amazing experience and room keeps you guessing! Not enough time to work through all of the puzzles.
would be better if we had 90 minutes. $245 is a lot for just one hour. Other than that it was a great experience.
We loved the room. However, prior to coming we asked if it was handicapped accessible. The reply we got was that the person answering the phone didn't know and she gave us an email address to send our inquiry to. This was the same email address on our receipt. The email address is bad and does not work. We arrive with our wheelchair bound sister only to find that we are met with two flights of stairs. Really? You couldn't disclose this when we called? I also placed my review on trip advisor.
