I called and made an appointment for a two hour lesson for five-year-old boy at least two weeks before the lesson. The teacher was fine but the equipment was less than adequate. The surfboard they provided was for an adult. The wetsuit was too big and overwhelmed him, so much that he refused to wear it. The adult sized board pulled so hard on my grandson's leg that it exhausted him. After an hour of struggling he gave up. It was only later that my grandson told me why he gave up on the lesson. When I checked with other schools, they said that normally they use a child size board for a child that weighs 45 lbs.
