I had been to 2 hours of beachside horseback riding before in Hawaii and it was an easy fun ride, but this 2 hours one was harder because of the hills. The temperature wasn’t too high but it was hot in black clothes since it was a sunny day. The horses were pretty cute and well trained. My horse decided to walk away when the guide started to explain how to control the horses but other ones seemed to be calm and relaxed. The view from the trail was beautiful but it was not the track to the Hollywood sign or not even close to it as it shows in the picture on the icon. We were able to see a bit of the sign from the distance/angled and a nice view of the downtown LA. They told us to stay away from our phones in the beginning and said there will be tons of time/spots to take pictures afterwards. However, the guide did not let us know when it’s ok to bring up our phones so we were a bit confused. I think it would have been nicer if they let us know before we asked. We were also told that we were going to be given some water half way through but we didn’t get any. Assuming that we had to ask the guide when we wanted it, it’d have been nice if we were told that we had to ask for it or we were offered at some point without even asking. Also, since it is a sightseeing activity, it’d be better if they offered to take pictures of us at certain points. Overall, it was a fun ride with nice views.

Cassandra is fantastic! We had such an enjoyable experience as a family. She was wonderful teaching us the basics as first timers and also told us a lot of historical information. I would recommend this experience without hesitation. Perfect!
