Excellent day out with the children - Excellent day out. Everyone enjoyed it and worth the visit. Food and drink as well as souvenirs a bit pricey though!

Perfect day at Universal Studios Hollywood - Even though I visit the park every year, it is always a pleasure. Important: you must go at opening time because the park fills up very quickly All the attractions are high-quality, whether it is Jurassic World, Transformers, The Mummy, the Studio Tour, The Simpsons, or the new Fast and Furious roller coaster, or Harry Potter, nothing to complain about, everything is perfect. Unforgettable day.

Great experience but much smaller park! - Lovely park but the rides queues are about 45 mins to 2 hours for most rides at certain times of the day , Mario is the hardest to get on as our kids wouldn’t queue for 90 - 120 min. I recommend The Simpsons and secret life of pets, Despicable Me. Jurassic Park and fast and furious is unbelievable and the best rides! Never got to go on Mario due to waiting for other rides. Harry Potter - I would not bother with olivanders as only one child gets chosen and the other families have to watch one lucky child, in our case the child chosen couldn’t understand English and their translator was next to useless. The Park feels quite small but the shops have a lot to buy, Krusty burger was a nightmare took way too long to get food.

Excessively crowded. - The lines for the rudes are way to long, most of them over an hour in the heat and many times without any shade. The good is expensive and not the best tasting. The restaurants were really busy and extremely dirty. The floor where so sticky and wet. I bought the refillable soda cup and most of the soda stations had no ice, and some didn't even have water. Some of the rides are nice but some are outdated. I wouldn't recommend the park to any friends and family. Staff are probably doing what they can but it's just imposible for them to keep up with the amount of people in the park. I belive universal studios should have some Kind of reservation system to help prevent the park to be as over crowded.

false advertising - To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my sincere disappointment regarding my recent visit to Universal Studios — my very first time attending the park. This was not a spontaneous trip. I do not have a large disposable income, and this vacation was something I had been carefully saving for over an extended period of time. I had originally planned to visit Disneyland, but when I saw Universal Studios advertising the new Fast & Furious ride opening in Summer 2026, I changed my plans entirely. As a longtime fan of the franchise, it was the main reason I chose Universal Studios for this trip. Unfortunately, the Fast & Furious attraction was closed both days of my visit. Not once was I able to experience the ride I had specifically come to see — the very ride that was prominently advertised as open and available this summer. I have to be honest: this significantly impacted my overall experience and dampened what was meant to be a very special and hard-earned vacation. I am left wondering why an attraction is being actively marketed as open for Summer 2026 when guests are arriving to find it unavailable. I would greatly appreciate an explanation, and I hope Universal Studios will consider making this right in some meaningful way — whether through a partial refund, complimentary return tickets, or another gesture of goodwill. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to experience the park the way it was advertised. Thank you for taking the time to read my concern. I look forward to your response. Sincerely,

Disrespectful in pursuit of $$ - Let me begin with the obvious acknowledgment that all theme parks are certainly interested in one’s pocketbook. Fair to note. But while even neighbor Disney is a bit more gentle about it, Universal Hollywood is shameless and hence my severe disappointment. Every attraction is attached to a retail shop/center. And while at some point, as a family- it’s on parents to exercise some impulsivity authority with kids- let me highlight a particularly disgusting example- Ollivanders, Harry Potter. They march a room full of people, (many kids) into a room and do magic with wands. Using select kids as examples. Then the character clearly instructs the kids to go get their own magic wands, opening a door to a gift shop with $60 wands. $50 for two cheeseburger and fry combos, $200 PER PERSON for express passes. I could go on and on. But the outright disrespect shown for the the baiting of young people and their tactics across the board, guys do better. Do so much better. We’re not Rockefellers as a fam but work hard and of relative means, I post this for the people who might not be as fortunate and really could get hit hard. I would not recommend this park at all if you’re looking for a fair ROI on your money and time. Insane Lengthy lines and hands out to grab every buck you have that day. The experience motivated me to even likely note on social media and etc beyond this and I never do, I’m a 5 star review or keep mouth shut person. But it was so offensive, here we are.

Overcrowded, overpriced and disappointing experience - Universal was extremely disappointing. The prices are ridiculous, the park feels overcrowded, and there are gift shops everywhere. It often feels like the whole place is designed to make you spend more money rather than enjoy the experience. Most queues were around 80 minutes, which is unacceptable when tickets are already so expensive. Some rides were closed, which made the queues for everything else even worse. The studio tour was also a big disappointment. I expected to see something interesting behind the scenes, but you can barely see anything. It felt more like driving around empty buildings than a proper studio experience. Overall, the park has some good rides, but the customer experience does not match the price. For what they charge, Universal should offer shorter queues, better organisation, fewer closed attractions, and a much better studio tour.
