Museum was wonderful! Be... - Museum was wonderful! Be prepared to do a lot of walking inside, but all of the exhibitions are worth it. Just a note, due to construction, parking is a distance from the museum.

Reframing dioramas - We went to see the “new” reframing dioramas exhibit! We were quite pleased with the exhibit! We later found out that this new hall was an old hall that was closed for over 30 years. I’m glad it’s open now, because it added many new dioramas to the extensive list they already had on exhibit. What was of particular interest to me was the fact that there were dioramas from Asia, Africa, South America and Australia! We also loved seeing the new “green” dinosaur named Gnatalie! Hoping this new diorama hall will remain open to the public and there’s room in there for a few more dioramas! I’m personally hoping for more Asian animals!

An absolute must-see - I’m a bit of a natural history fanatic, and this is quite literally one of my favorites (especially for paleontology). This is an absolute must-do for anyone with an interest in dinosaurs or fish especially, and offers great insight into local history

Great space for families with young children - My family and I went to the museum for a few hours during a visit to LA. The kids loved all the exhibits with the living creatures which can be found around CA. There was definitely plenty to see and do and we weren’t able to do it all. We will have to come back on another trip to LA.

Worth coming to see it once. - I enjoyed the dinosaurs, mammals, and gem displays. I found them informative and laid out well. Also went to the rose garden (unrelated to the museum) outside on the backside of the museum. I was out of town and had never been here. While I am glad I chose to go here, I would probably not come again because I am just like that..I don't typically repeat visiting places. Please go though if you have never been!
