A trail where history and nature converge - The hike was a blast! Paul is a great tour guide, so full of knowledge yet down to earth and polite! His storytelling skills are superb when it comes to any history bit or fun fact about Griffith Park, from true events of the past concerning the park (and LA as a whole) to spooky or uncanny stories related to the area. Paul provides you with any trivia that you need, from geographical point of interest, to wildlife and fauna and more! The hike is a must to experience a unique wilderness a few miles from the sprawling urban area. The view gets better and better while climbing up to the observatory. It may be foggy but that should not stop anybody from experiencing it, because that gives a more mysterious glance to the whole landscape (and it does get less foggy during the hike!). Great hike! Great tour guide! Great memories! Definitely worthy of a second round if coming to LA in the future.

Very Wholesome Tour - It was a great tour. It gave meaning to many sites that we would have visited without knowing their story and it covers a lot. Highly recommend it.

Fun hike to the Observatory - Just went on this tour on Saturday, for my birthday. Our guide was Matt. We had a good time overall. The suggestions I would make are: 1) on your website it says tour begins and ends at the same location, that is not true. Tour begins at Franklin cafe but ends at Griffith Observatory, so you either need to catch the Dash bus down or walk. 2) I don't know if this is what Matt has to do, but he talked a lot about LA transportation and how bad it is (which is true) and a few other topics that did not pertain to our walk. We stopped a lot to hear him talk and I think that is why we ran a little over in the tour. 3) Also, when we began the tour Matt said the first hill would be the hardest part, at least for me the big hills getting up to the observatory were harder so I think that should be omitted We appreciated Matt taking the time to take pictures for us of the sign and Observatory and telling us where the best spots would be for pictures. I thought we would be right near the sign, which we weren't which was an oversight on my end.
