Such a great experience! - Such a fun and interesting way to explore some of LA’s most fascinating neighborhoods. We got to walk all over, tasting delicious foods and learning lots of history along the way. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and encouraged us to try all kinds of new fruits and foods along the way. Highly recommend this experience to get beyond the tourist traps and see more of LA!

Like Being Show Around by an Old Friend! - Our tour guide, Penelope, was so wonderful! She brought such a warm and comfortable energy to our tour that really made it feel like being shown around by a good friend! And this is to say nothing of her deep knowledge of the history of LA and California which really helped to bring a rich cultural context to all the food stops! Speaking of the food stops, the selection was great! Some good sit down spots and some good food to be eaten while we walked to different locations! A few spots were places we had been as LA locals but there were also some real gems (especially the bahn mi spot!) that I don’t think I ever would have found on my own! Such a lovely lovely experience!!! For those worried about the walk: while you do walk a fair amount, you take such consistent breaks that you rarely feel it!! Truly can’t recommend this experience enough!

Pearl!!! - Pearl was the best tour guide. She knew so much history about LA and about the immigration practices for Chinese and Japanese Americans. This was truly a history tour. The food was delicious as well.

Overview taste of what city of Los Angeles has to offer and more!!! Highly recommended!! - This was a last minute booking since we were going to be in the area for Anime Expo. Surprisingly turned out to be just us so it was like a private touring of the city with great food. Denise is our awesome guide with in-depth knowledge of the old L.A history as well as the new current events which was great to absorb to. We started our tour from Union Station to El Pueblo de Los Angeles - Chiguacle for pulled pork tacos, quick peek at the Avila Adobe, then mexican candies for the road then onto Chinatown, unfortunately some restaurants were closed so substitutions were added in elsewhere. Little Tokyo next, Fugetsu-Do for some yummy fresh mochi’s, Kaminari Gyoza Bar for crispy and juicy gyozas, then Chinchikuri for piping hot takoyaki. Then quick train ride back to Grand Central Market for Michelin grade Carne Asada tacos, and top it all off with ice cream from McConnel’s. We had a blast!! Highly recommend anyone to do this tour for a taste of what LA has to offer. Love it!! Huge thanks to Denise for an awesome tour of LA!

Great tour of DTLA! - This is the second tour I’ve done with Delicious Dish and it was great! I really enjoyed the variety of food served on Olvera St, Chinatown, Little Tokyo and Grand Central Market. All the food was delicious! This really is a food tour for people who know and love food and want to learn more about it while seeing the city. Their guides are so friendly and knowledgeable. My friends really loved it too. I’ll definitely be back!

Really awesome tour - This tour was great! I got to try a lot of delicious things I’ve never heard of and that’s what made this tour really special. I don’t really know that much about food but I really like to eat! I’ve never had cochinita pibil or tako yaki but they were delicious. It was great to try new things while getting a good tour of downtown. The guide was also really knowledgeable and friendly. Great overall

Terrible! Avoid! - Terrible! I have never been on a food tour that we ate so little food. We were only in restaurants during the three hour tour. We walked through an outdoor market just to look at the produce being offered while being told about the spike of armed robberies in the area. Afterwards, we went to eat as we were still hungry. Also, our tour guide went on a 30 minute rant about ICE and current politics Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
