Visiting Laguna del Inca - Early departure - 5:30 am for me - then collecting some other clients, one hour drive and then we had breakfast halfway there (Los Andes possibly). There were some lamas and toilet facility.
Then another one-hour drive to reach Laguna del Inca. There was a short stop to take photos of curvy road climbing up to Los Andes. The road goes to other side of Los Andes to Mendoza, Argentina. You can see beautiful mountains on the way, unless you are sleeping.
It was a beautiful day; sunny and -5C in Lacuna del Inca. Some snow. You can go for skiing; we didn't have time for it. We stayed 1.5 hours there. Toilets were available with small fee. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, but it opens at 12:30. But there were some small kiosks, where to buy snacks.
On the way back we had short stop in the same place as in the morning. Tour operator had organized lunch: some red wine, grapes, cheese, sweet, music etc. I didn't expect that, so it was a nice surprise. Don't go too close to the lamas, they can spit on your face. Actually, they did it for one client.
We were back to Santiago around 3 pm.
Mostly clients were from Brazil, Uruguay and Chile.
All in all, it was nice day trip outside Santiago.
Guide Rafael had nice stories to tell, and driver Antonio drove as fast as he could (safely though) :) Very well-organized trip!
If you don't want to spend your whole trip in Santiago, this is good trip to take to see other beautiful places in Chile.

The only way to see Aconcagua from Chile - The journey starts from the city, goes through drylands full of cacti and then up through the mountain pass. The road and bus were very good. The views at the lagoon were amazing. A picnic lunch was provided which was refreshing. The guide was helpful. The only thing that could be improved is communication. Being informed at 10pm the night before is very inconvenient.

Portillo leaving from Santiago with Turistik - It was an excellent walk, on the way we stopped at a small winemaker that makes liquors and a view of the road called Caracol, on the 17th curve. The guide Andrea was very attentive and made great explanations. The driver José led us very well. The bus has air conditioning, leather armchairs and Wifi included.
The best point of the tour is the beautiful Inca lagoon, where we enjoy a great lunch, inside a wonderful hotel, a privileged view. The road also has good landscapes.
Tip: Bring cold clothes even in December.

If I could give this tour 10 stars... -
If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would! Portillo Lagoon is a unique place. We were only tourists on that day and the car that picked us up was new, very friendly driver and great tour guide. If you love mountains, this place is definitely for you! We also stopped by the river, where the water was so clean, you could drink it! Overall, very nice place!

PORTILLO TOUR FROM VALPARAISO - What are we doing for? Centralism is on offer everywhere. Do we want to go to Portillo? Ah... From Santiago. And why not from Valparaiso? Valparaíso is Puerto and, despite the countless cagon dogs that swarm its steep streets, it is a Puerto Lindo for all those who decide to know something different by walking its hills, or crossing them through the Cintura Way and Avenida Germany that cut the main hills at navel level. All right, he climbed into his own or rented car and traveled it, even daring to head towards Laguna Verde, which is not a lagoon, it is the Pacific Ocean that is offered to his adventurous eyes in all its glory, with that dark blue typical of our sea bordered by white foam when approaching the beach and rocks, or on the crest of its waves when the wind tickles him. Well, don't think about it anymore. Let's make a challenge: What is more beautiful, the majestic violence of the sea or the defiant whiteness of the Portillo snows? It doesn't make him carry skis. Let's look at the snow and feel the cold of the heights. I'm not telling you to hold your ears, that's only for when you get close to the seashore. The snow is silent, unless you're facing a slide. Pray to him. Portillo tickets people! You already know that you have to go to the Andes, which must cross the most productive valleys of Chile in the matter of fruit, that we are in winter and the trees sadly show their bare skeletons, the quiet and silent vineyards sleep quietly preparing to green and then load of grape bunches, likewise the peaches, damasks, almonds sleep quietly. If you feel like it, you can eat empanadas along the way, wherever they are offered, and the smell of the onion in the interject of the meat seasoned with bay leaves and oregano (at least I do) awakens your appetite. Don’t be “tight,” drop the weights that will suit the people selling them and satisfy their appetite. Now I do. Prepare to climb the steep mountain, remember that you trained climbing the hills of Valparaiso, a question that you could not do coming from Santiago, and start zigzagging as you climb. You will see that each curve brings them closer and closer to the skiers’ refuge. Is he here yet? Since it's winter he'll stay there shoehorning in the snow and throwing snowballs at himself. They won't let him near the lagoon, but that's the least of it. Enjoy the day. If you don’t have the task of driving, use the moment to empty that bottle of red I keep in your icebox. If you are aiming for height do not do so because the drunkenness and dizziness of height should not mix. Anyway I leave it in the shelter, there is a good restaurant, I assure you that it is not expensive and the food is good. Come on, come in, don’t be tight, live with those who carry skis for a while, most of them are gringos, so they didn’t have the extraordinary experience of getting here from Valparaiso. Pity them, but eat in the same place where they feed their scant vision of getting off the plane, going to Valparaiso and enjoying the rides in the hills porteños where you do not occupy any guide to tour them, moreover you can ask the porteños details of the places you are visiting and you will see that the porteños are Chileans very good vibes. WARNING: Don’t even think about hiring a gringo or santiaguino guide for that visit. Okay? It's okay for me to pass it on to every mother.

Inca Lagoon - The scenarios all along to the lagoon is not impressive. The 34 turns on the road might make you dizzy. The inca Lagoon well is solo.
Visit to the small winery is not that good particularly it takes up so much of the time of the day. We joined the tour on March 5 via aviator.

I booked this for my parents who do... -
I booked this for my parents who do not speak Spanish. I specified to have English guide, but the driver who came does not speak English at all. My parents were the only 2 person in the group. No introduction or any communication from the driver throughout the whole trip. Based on the tour description, it sounds like it will stop at Chacabuco Monument and a few other places, in fact the driver only made one stop at the Inca Lagoon for 2 hours. My parents were picked up from hotel at 7:40 am, and were dropped at the hotel at 2:15 pm. That's 6.5 hrs, instead of the 10 hrs described on the website. The last straw. My dad forgot his hat on the car. The hotel staff made several calls to the company and the driver to see if the driver can find it. Never heard anything back from the driver. This is by far the worst experience in my parents' 20 days south America trip.
