A Lovely afternoon! - The drive was spectacular and the Mission and Oasis are hidden gems. Carlos took excellent care of us and we had an authentic lunch at La Palapas. I recommend it to anyone enjoying history, culture and the desert.

An enjoyable afternoon - We had a very interesting afternoon with Carlos on the Janvier Mission tour. Thanks to Carlos, we learned so much about the history of the mission and the Jesuits in the area. We enjoyed the drive into the mountains and the delicious lunch. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great trip, great guide - Booked this trip and were very impressed. Clean van, beverages and the most eloquent and informed guide, Carlos. All of our questions were answered and he provided depth and context to the trip. He really made the difference in our appreciation of the visit to the Mission. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

More than the Mission! - Carlos, our guide, was knowledgeable, entertaining, a good driver and great host. Lots of info during the drive, too. And San Javier is a charming little town surrounding the gem of the mission. There is a spring and aquaducts feed the town and gardens with the spring water. Wonderful day trip!

Great day tour option - Excellent half day tour from Loreto. Lino picked us, a party of eight, in a large minivan on time. We had several email confirmations prior to pick up. He was very friendly, helpful, and spoke English well. We traveled up the mountain to the original mission with several stops on the way. The mission is quite interesting with surrounding agriculture. A very good simple lunch with drinks, including beer and soft drinks, was included. The tour duration was 4.5 hours.
