Historically Bountiful Experience - It was a wonderful and educational trip. Our guide Carlos was great and spoke English and Spanish which made the experience even better! Despite the heat, he provided everything we needed and was attentive to any needs anybody had. The best part was his multi-lingual historical knowledge about the area.

Something for everyone - Many interesting facts about the mission and its culture were presented by Santos. The places we visited were authentic and were not commercialized in any way.

San Javier tour with a guide who really cares !! - Kinda of a must do 1/2 day trip out of Loreto to a charming mountain village with a beautiful old Jesuit MISSION . Lino was a superb guide (his grandpa lives in San Javier so it’s his turf ) . Picked us up promptly at our hotel and took us up a spectacular mountain road to San Javier where we had a great lunch at his uncle’s restaurant and did a fact filled MISSION and orchard tour . If you have the time …do this Wild Loreto tour and ask for Lino (whose family lives in San Javier). A lovely experience . Jll

Amazing Day at a historical Mission! - Carlos was an amazing tour guide and the San Javier Mission was an amazing place to visit. Wild Loreto provided a clean and comfortable passenger van for transportation to and from the Mission. We stopped a few times along the way and Carlos shared some interesting facts about El Camino Real and local plants and birds. After touring the Mission and grounds, we had a wonderful lunch at the nearby restaurant. The food was traditional Mexican with local fresh ingredients. Water soda and beer were provided. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Loreto.

Traveling with Carlos to San Rafael - Enjoyed the tour and our driver and guide, Carlos. He knew so much about the area including what occurred in the past and especially the history of the church in San Rafael. He made the tour so much more interesting and I would highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended for 1st timers in Loreto - Joselino was a wonderful tour guide. His family is from San Javier and so he is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about its history. The ride was comfortable and smooth and included many talking points relevant to the history of San Javier and Loreto. There are many plants and fruits to observe and smell there, such as pitayas, mangos, wine grapes, oranges, lemons, grapefruits, olives, and bananas. The views from the tops of the mountains to get to San Javier cannot be overstated in their beauty. We saw horses, cows, and even a young deer. Joselino allowed plenty of time for photos, and was engaging and incredibly nice. Overall a beautiful and unique experience. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, informative tour - Our guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable about the Mission, history and horticulture of the area. He was friendly and displayed great hospitality to our tour group. The mission itself is quite the hidden treasure.

This company cancelled... - This company cancelled all 3 tours I booked with them during our 4 day trip to Loreto and left us with very little to do during my girlfriend’s birthday trip. They never even gave us an option to pay more for a private tour. Completely unacceptable and I hope they understand that this continuous cancellation of our tours had a huge impact on our enjoyment of what was supposed to be a special birthday trip. So lame!
