- Lopud Island - We meet at our kayak centre on Lopud island. After a safety talk and kayaking instructions, we set off across the channel for the island of Šipan.

- Lopud Island - We meet at our kayak centre on Lopud island. After a safety talk and kayaking instructions, we set off across the channel for the island of Šipan.
- Sipan - Heading south and west, we first paddle to a natural stone arch which is a perfect photo-op. Under this archway, you can see the Adriatic sea open up in all of its glory.
- Sipan - Next, we regroup and paddle along the coast to the hidden Green Cave. We’ll then tie up our kayaks and get ready for a wonderful morning of swimming and cliff jumping. But first, we’ll grab snorkels and masks and swim down through the cave’s opening. Very few know about this cave … even the locals. Inside,there is plenty of room for swimming and even standing. This large, and safe, cave opens up to reveal an ethereal green light caused by the sun’s reflection off the sandy bottom. After, the group will swim in the deep cove outside the grotto’s entrance and try some cliff jumping.
- Sipan - We continue on to the delightful fishing village of Šuđurađ, on Šipan, for a lunch of local delicacies. We’ll have some free time for sightseeing.
- Lopud Island - Following lunch, we paddle back toward Lopud. Before calling it a day, we stop at the island of Ruda - our third island of the day – to explore and kayak into another cave. We’ll be back on Lopud in the afternoon.

Tour duration: 11 am – 6 pm (10 am start on Sundays & Holidays)
Activities: Kayaking 10 km, swimming and snorkeling at the Green Cave, optional cliff jumping

We meet at our kayak centre on Lopud island. Kayak centre is located on the main promenade by the sea, proximately in the middle of the bay. We share a courtyard with Lopud Info & Art gallery shop, next to restaurant Riva. You'll see our sign across the entrance. If you walk from the harbour, we're right before Getina street. From the direction of the Hotel Lafodia, we're right after Getina street.

Fun experience - We had a fantastic day exploring the caves, kayaking over to sipan and spending some time on the small beach. Our guide was very friendly. A highly recommended experience

A kayak trip to remember - Miro was excellent from start to finish. His dry wit coupled with quiet competence was reassuring during his comprehensive safety briefing. Once on the water the trip was very flexible and tailored to the abilities of the group.
We snorkelled around and into the caves with expert guidance, before heading to Sipan for a delicious seafood lunch.
Miro then took us to taste some local olive oils and liqueurs before the pleasant paddle back to Lopid.
The trip was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our holiday.

A great day's kayaking. - This is a fantastic day out that would appeal to anyone who enjoys an active holiday. The kayaking was challenging but manageable including for our teenage children. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was excellent and Ivo the tour guide knowledgeable, friendly inclusive. Thoroughly recommended.

The best kayaking and fun-on-the-water day - WHAT A TRIP! The most fantastic day with the most fantastic guide Ivica (Ivo). We are a family of 4 (children aged 17 and 16) and enjoyed a wonderful day on the sea with Ivo who was professional, safety conscious, informative, humorous, sociable, interested and interesting.
The tour itself from Lopud was fantastic and the sea cave and cliff jumping so much fun. We opted out of the cycling section due to the heat, but this made no difference to the enjoyment of the day as we enjoyed time on the island we kayaked to and had more time to swim and explore. Can’t recommend this trip and the amazing Outdoor Croatia enough- the most professional and responsive company we’ve ever had the pleasure to travel with.
This trip definitely suits older children as it’s quite a long kayak over to the neighbouring island- but just perfect for them.
We also highly recommend the sailing and rafting trips Outdoor Croatia organise from Split.

Best tour company I have ever utilised! - We did a family group holiday through a UK based company called Explore, who then used the local company of Outdoor Croatia to run our trips. We were based on Lopud and their base is right on the main front immediately next to a launching point, so not far to carry the kayaks/paddleboards. We had Filip and Miro as our guides, and they were both amazing. Spoke great English, and really professional and approachable throughout. Equipment was all well maintained, with provision of life jackets, snorkels and dry bags.The trip to Green Cave was really special. Not a heavy tourist spot but such a unique experience and the children had such fun jumping from the rocks, which were very safe. The kayak from Lopud to Sipan took about an hour but was manageable even for families with children. I can’t recommend this company enough. They have been brilliant throughout our trip.

Wonderful day spent kayaking the Elaphiti Islands - I did a day boat cruise through the Elaphiti Islands a few years ago and this was so much more enjoyable. You really get to explore the island, cave, cliffs and enjoy the water. The guides were funny, friendly and professional. I’ve never kayaked before but they explained everything very thoroughly and made sure we were all comfortable and safe.
We kayaked over to Sipan and spent time snorkeling, exploring the green cave and cliff diving. It was incredibly beautiful and even better because it wasn’t crawling with people. Next we enjoyed a fantastic lunch on the island before kayaking back. It was the perfect way to spend the day exploring the Elaphiti Islands. You end the day on Lopud, which I would recommend staying on, but if you can’t you still have time to enjoy a few glasses of wine before taking the ferry back.

A fantastic experience - Just book and enjoy one of the best days in your life!
From day one-Good and direct communication with the organisation. Fast reply to all of our questions. Knowledgeable guides and very good gear, in perfect conditions for a safety day on the sea! Everyone can make the trip- even children since a double place kayak can be used! Adriatic Sea it’s perfect for people that never did kayak before since it’s a very calm sea, not many waves! DON’t hesitate and dive into one of the most amazing experiences you can have in one of the most beautiful countries where I ever been! Croácia it’s just amazing! Our guide Ivica knew so well the region, the facts, the history and was so cautious and rigorous regarding all the aspects of safety and security that we always felt really safety and with the sensation we were in good hands! Thank you OUTDOOR CROACIA for one of the most : interesting, fun, fantastic and enjoyable days of our life’s!

Great tour, even better tour guide - Luka was an amazing guide, very helpful, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of safety.
The green cave was very beautiful though it was a pity that we unable to bring our phones in to take pictures (unless we had a waterproof phone bag).
Would definitely reccomend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the different islands around the adriatic apart from Dubrovnik!

Kayaking in Paradise - If you want some activity on your holiday, then this is such a fun day out! Our guide, Philippe, was super knowledgeable of the area, helped us before, during and after the trip, really skilled too! The ‘green cave’ is beautiful, the snorkelling during the trip was great too! Lunch on Sipan Island is extra, we decided to take a packed lunch as we already had a meal booked at a restaurant in the evening. The weather was glorious, we were just 6 people plus the guide, so a nice number! I would highly recommend this trip to everyone!

Fun paddling, great guide, and delicious lunch - We had a wonderful day kayaking and snorkeling. Ivo led our trip, but we also hung out with Ivan and Mickie on the ferry home (They led another group on the kayak/bike trip.). All 3 were friendly and helpful. Ivo is good natured, patient, and funny. And he chose an excellent restaurant for lunch. (First time eating sea bass; delicious!)
Tip: The ferries were very crowded. If sitting is important to you, I’d advise arriving at least 30 mins prior to departure to Lopud. On the way back, we were able to sit on the front deck b/c they’d off-loaded their cargo on the island.
