Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to spend time with. The history, in connection with the pubs chosen, was a great mix. One stop planned with a spot of food would have been a plus.
John was a great tour guide - we all enjoyed having drinks with him. The tour took us to places in London we would not have seen otherwise as well.
We had Greg for our guide and he made the evening very interesting and enjoyable. Wealth of knowledge regarding the pubs we visited, British beers and London in general. Easy person to have a conversation with. Well worth it and highly recommended.
Craig was a great guide! As knowledgeable about local history as he was about pubs and English ales. Highest recommendation!
Greg was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable not only about the great pubs we went to but about British history as well. He has a great sense of humor too. This tour was thoroughly enjoyed by my family which included two young adults and my husband and myself who are in our 50"s.
We had an amazing time! It was honestly a highlight of our whole vacation. Greg was super knowledgeable, funny and just fun to hang out with. We enjoyed learning about the history of London and the pubs we visited. It was also a bonus that Greg was able to help us pick beers we liked instead of choosing randomly. Will definitely book another one the next time we visit! Wish you guys were in other cities too!
Perfect and knowledge host!
Top notch tour!!! Will definitely do one of the others next time in London. We did the Fleet Street and really enjoyed it!
Greig was great! He gave us history of London as well as the history of the bars. It was all inclusive and fantastic. We had an absolutely wonderful time. I highly recommend this tour! We did the Fleet Street tour. Definitely a highlight of our trip to London!
Greg was amazingly entertaining. So much fun and so informative. We recommend it to all.
Fantastic tour - really enjoyed it. We had a great time, learned a lot, had some fun and drank some beer :-)
London Tavern Tours are just a great, relaxing way to see bits of London you would not find on your own. The history of the area and the pubs we visited were intriguing and John described them colorfully. This was my second tour and if we return to London, we will definitely do another! Thanks John!
John was a fantastic tour guide around London. We did a private Fleet Street Pub Tour with our family of 6 (kids are 23, 21, 19, 17). We were all impressed with John's knowledge of London, the pubs he took us to and his knowledge of the different beers and ales. The next day we went to a pub for dinner and my boys and husband were commenting how much more informed they felt in choosing which pint to order. We have been to London several times but this was our first Pub Tour and we all really enjoyed spending the afternoon with John. I would encourage anyone considering the tour to book it. You won't be disappointed. We all agreed that the tour was a highlight of our trip!
Our guide, Morris, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the taverns. We enjoyed seeing the 4 pubs and the 2 1/2 hours just flew by. It was a nice end to our Essential Britain tour. Some of the pubs was like you were stepping back in time. The tour can be tailored to fit your needs, the pace, what you see, how much history you want to receive, etc. I would definitely do another one if ever I'm in London again. Thank you!
