London's best means it's transport - We were served and advised by Norman who was very helpful and good fun too. The trip itself was trouble free and, at £50 for a family day ticket hop on hop off was sad good a deal as other public transport, faster and more fun.

Helpful and professional staff. - David Notarius was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. He greeted us both with a smile and explained everything to our satisfaction. A great ambassador for your company. The only issue was the waiting time of 25min for the next boat.

Purely a way of getting from A - B. Don't expect frills or good customer service - It's made very clear from the start that these boats are not sightseeing tours and they run as hop on hop off boats between Putney and Barking. That was fine for us. I booked online. When we got to the ticket booth they asked where we were going and we were directed down the ramp for the next boat. We were going to Woolwich, but when we got on the boat it was only going to North Greenwich, so we had a stopover of 1/2 hour. The toilet wasn't working on the boat, so after an hour (plus the journey there) we were ready for a toilet. Getting off at North Greenwich I asked one of the staff where the nearest toilets were, and she didn't know (or care!). She vaguely mentioned a shopping mall about 10 mins away - not very helpful to a tourist. We wandered around and eventually found something after asking various people. Back on the boat we got off at Greenwich. As we arrived back at the ramp a boat was just coming in. The girl at the top waved us down and radioed to say we were coming. We went as fast as we could and got down to the man at the bottom just as they decided to pull up the boat ramp. He indicated we were there but the girl gave a shrug and the boat set off without us. He even whistled up to the pilot to indicate us, but it made no difference. We had a half hour wait and there were no seats at the ramp. Generally we felt that the staff were more mindful of times and running to a timetable than customer service. the attitude was unhelpful and everything felt rushed. It was a good way to see places we would otherwise not have gone. We sat out in the back. Seating wasn't particularly comfortable but we got good views and it was covered. We could have sat indoors and seen less.

Don’t do it - Bad queueing and a waste of money for the hop on and off. Would wait for long period of time to go short distances…………………..

Disappointing service, and too expensive - The hop on day pass is far too expensive. For a start last year you could get a welcome discount by showing your Senior Citizen local bus pass. So I ordered this online but was net with the news, ah, they changed that ruling just November and only a London pass will do. They demanded I pay a surcharge- £14.75 worth! Then the frequency of the boats was very disappointing. I saw my first boat pull away, which meant a 25 minute wait. On my return journey a small boat with only indoor seating arrived. They had only space for 3 passengers they announced, there were 4 of us waiting, and I was left behind. Another 25 minute wait. For the huge outlay £27, I didn't think it was value for money at all. With the huge gaps between services I had to completely reorder my plans and in the end due to time constraints paid a huge amount of money for a return trip to Canary Wharf from Westminster. I was not impressed
