Amazing cocktails - We had an amazing time at The Chocolate Cocktail Club, the cocktails are unreal, best chocolate martinis I've ever had. The venue is sweet, with wonderful staff, they couldn't do enough for you.
Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Wonderful visit here - We had such a lovely time here. If you love chocolate this is definitely the place for you! All our drinks were superb and Alex was a great host taking our orders. Would highly recommend for something different to do in London

A chocolatey afternoon - Had a fantastic afternoon here with a friend! She booked the afternoon tea for my birthday and we had the best time. The afternoon tea was delicious with a variety of sandwiches and lots of chocolatey treats! We also had a cocktail included but we still sampled more. Would definitely recommend!

The Best Cocktail Bar in London! - My partner recently won an Easter competition at The Chocolate Cocktail Club. This was our third time visiting & it was amazing yet again. Anne Marie especially was brilliant, my partner has recently been diagnosed with coeliac disease & she could not have been more helpful with this, she provided a separate menu showing the gluten free options & detailing what my partner could have & explained everything in detail putting my partner at ease. Great atmosphere, service, music & not forgetting the yummiest cocktails! We’ll definitely be visiting again!

Birthday tea - We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our chocoholic friends birthday. But why oh why did the music have to be so loud. We did ask if they could turn it down but their answer was its pre set . Such a shame as it could have been a perfect afternoon

Not impressed. Place was... - Not impressed. Place was cute, staff was great but drinks were all sugar and water down, never felt the buzz. I don't think I will come back.

Disappointing experience - My daughter bought me a voucher as a gift. Hubby and I had previously visited the pop-up in Shoreditch so were looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately the bar in Farringdon is tiny with seating really close to other guests so much so that I felt the sneeze from the woman on my right and could hear the whole conversations of everyone around me.
The website states that you can choose from three options for your first cocktail. The waiter however said we had to have a chocotini and asked me to show him where I saw a choice of three on the website. I duly obliged. The cocktails were very nice but the food was tasteless.
A waitress later approached our table and announced loudly: ‘I’m afraid I’m going to have to give you your half hour warning now.’ A warning? Seriously? There must be a more polite way to say there’s only half an hour remaining of our ninety minutes slot. Then a different waiter approached our table to ask if we’d like to order another drink. I told him we’d have no time to drink it as we’d already been given a warning.
The website tells customers to ‘lick the rim’ and the people to my right did just that. It wasn’t pleasant to see a lady licking both the inner and outer rim of her glass while her friend scooped out the remains of her drink with her fingers whilst shouting that what she really needed was a spoon.
Not a great experience at all, sadly.

Beware of the Hidden Conditions when Booking - Firstly, the cocktail I had was nice.
So why the poor review?
To book a table, you have to pay £11.50 per person which gets you an £11.50 cocktail.
There are only about 5 £11.50 cocktails on their menu and if you don't like one, that's touch.
My wife really wanted a £12 cocktail but we were told she couldn't;t have one until she drank one of the £11.50 ones.
So nearly 2/3 of the drinks menu is only accessible after you are made to choose from one of their cheaper cocktails.
We asked to upgrade and pay the difference and they refused. You can downgrade to a mocktail which is ok but the website doesn't make it clear you can't upgrade.
The staff person just said 'There's literally nothing I can do' (which wasn't true) and that 'It's in the T&Cs...which it actually isn't).
We asked to leave but they wouldn't refund. In the end, my wife had a cocktail she just didn't want and then we left quickly.
I've never been to a small food/drink restaurant where the staff are so unhelpful and rigid in trying to make you enjoy the experience or become a retuning customer.
The irony is that we were planning on returning with friends before we visited and now we won't go back.
We just didn't enjoy the experience at all

Wouldn’t return - Awful experience, the whole place smelt really badly of what can only be described as wet dog. The cocktails tasted like nesquick made with water, my second cocktail was meant to be pistachio but had no resemblance to pistachio at all. My friend couldn’t even drink her cocktails at all. I asked where the toilet was and the lady who was serving us said “don’t take your coat off it’s outside” and it was pretty dire. The whole experience was definitely not one I would repeat.
