Great Landmark - Great Tour Guide! - St. Paul's Cathedral is a must-visit when in London--an unbelievably impressive structure from the early 1700s with a fun and semi-challenging stair climb (if you want to do it) to the inner rotunda and then another climb to the top, where the views of London are magnificent. I was there with 16 university students and we had an amazing time--especially due to our wonderful guide, Bridgette, a volunteer tour guide and our new British best friend! Thank you, Bridgette!

Iconic - Visiting St Paul’s Cathedral is always a memorable experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed this visit. I’ve been before with family, but there is always something new to appreciate. The audio headphones are very helpful in understanding the history, architecture, and purpose of the different sections of the cathedral. It is definitely worthwhile climbing the stairs to the upper levels, and the Whispering Gallery is especially fascinating because of its unique acoustics and echoing effect. The tea room in the crypt is reasonably good, the restroom queues move surprisingly quickly considering the number of visitors, and the little gift shop is absolutely lovely. Overall, this is one of London’s iconic and most worthwhile historic attractions.

beautiful view - A must go if you are in London. We went when it wasn't raining and it was great. As it was end of Lesbian Visibility Week, we even saw a lesbian flag from up there! The stairs may seem little tricky ang long (we were going up for around 15 minutes), but the view is definitely worth it afterwards. Sadly, it was pretty crowded here when we went there, but even crowded, it was worth the price.

Amazing experience- well worth every penny - Absolutely amazing experience at St Paul’s Cathedral and worth every penny! ⛪️🇬🇧 One ticket gets you so much included — entry to the cathedral, the crypt, the incredible dome climb, the audio guide, and guided tours all for one price, which makes it fantastic value for money. 🙌 The climb to the top is no joke though… 528 steps and my legs were questioning every life decision by the end 😂🦵 But reaching all 3 levels of the dome was such an achievement: 🔊 Whispering Gallery – amazing acoustics 🏛 Stone Gallery – beautiful outdoor views 🌆 Golden Gallery – absolutely breathtaking panoramic views across London The audio guide was brilliant and really brought the history of the cathedral to life, and the guided tours were excellent too. You can easily spend hours here without getting bored. The architecture inside is stunning and the whole place feels incredibly special. Be prepared for lots of stairs, narrow spiral walkways, and a serious workout on the way up 😅 but honestly it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in London. Highly recommend — just don’t expect to sit down comfortably afterwards! 😂

Incredible View from The Golden Gallery - Climb, climb, climb up the 528 steps to the top and breathe or gasp as you survey the city! The steps are very do-able with lots of rests in between. And the view far surpasses the view from The Shard! On ground level there is a fascinating crypt and a very good gift shop. There are extremely helpful staff everywhere too.

Beautiful Cathedral - This is a beautiful cathedral. It is rich in history. With the general admission ticket you can have the option of doing a free guided walking tour of either 30 minutes or one hour duration. I highly recommended the guided walking tour for 30 minutes. There is also an option to do an audio tour in several languages. You can also climb the dome which is over 500 steps. It’s a long way up and down, of course but worth the view from the top. Please note that there is an elevator, but it was out of service when I was there. In the crypt, there are the memorials and tombs of famous Britons including the Duke of Wellington and Lord Nelson.

Completed the Entire Climb - Jumped on a free guided tour of the cathedral. Our guide Peter was very passionate about London, art and architecture so it was a lovely was to get an introduction/overview of the cathedral. Challenged ourselves by climbing to all through galleries - not for the faint hearted as while the climb is not difficult it is a LOT of steps. Well rewarded with a great view of London though. Also very interesting looking through the crypt.

Very beautiful cathedral - Visit on 05/16/26, The place is already graceful and clearly impressive. The cathedral is visible from the Thames, and one understands why when arriving in front of it; what incredible grandeur! The entrance is paid (quite expensive, nonetheless) and is accessed from the front, the side, or through the crypt by taking stairs (it might be possible to sneak in, especially close to closing time at 4 PM). I also recommend booking directly on the site and not on platforms... Because, as was the case that day, it is very difficult to get a refund for tickets if a special event is scheduled. We were able to enter using the crypt technique... otherwise, it would have been impossible. The interior is breathtaking with heights that take your breath away. The views from the top of the dome are dizzying. The choir not being open makes it difficult to judge, but the little we could see seemed to match the rest: it was immense! The crypt is also very spacious, with a souvenir shop and a café. In conclusion: a very beautiful monument, but book tickets on the official site and be cautious of special events, especially on weekends and evenings.
