Awesome! - We visited with our daughters (ages 7 and 6), and all of us had a fantastic time. The girls absolutely loved it, and so did we. The staff were enthusiastic, engaging, and really entertaining for the children. We especially enjoyed how they would playfully involve the adults, it added an extra layer of fun for the kids.
The only downside for us was the condition of the toilets. They were quite dirty, and the floors were extremely slippery, which didn’t match the otherwise high standard of the experience. That was a real disappointment.
That said, we would still recommend this experience to others overall, we had a great time!

Good for kids - It was ok for a couples trip, would have been excellent for a family trip.
Did feel a little bit forced to join in with some of the parts which was a bit awkward.
I also found their use of adding shrek to words a little sickening. Cinderella also did not look anything like Cinderella even by dreamworks standards.
Other than that, the guy dressed as doris needs a pay rise, it was good but i personally wouldn’t go back during a weekend.

Ideal for 6-10 year olds - We visited purely because we have recently purchased merlin passes. Our children are teens so its not ideally for their age. However would I pay to go in no probably not. The actors are amazing but slightly annoying with the American accent & words like 'shrektacular' 'shrekcellent' etc..Also it's too interactive for us.. as a family we would rather not be picked on to join in. My husband was chosen to dance in the fortune teller room 😬 some families love this sort of thing.

Wasn’t what we expected - We went on the London Eye and were offered tickets for £10 each, so we decided to try it. We had 2 teenagers with us, felt more geared up for small children than teenagers. You were ushered from room to room with different actors. The best bit was the bus ride. I think if the children had been under 10 they would have enjoyed the experience more

Don't read if you want a surprise! - It was ok. Went as have Merlin pass would have been miffed if we had paid individually for the experience. No actual ride. You get on a 'bus' which stays stationary with a video screen around it and you are sprayed with the odd bit of water. Then you go from room to room. Sets are amazing. Actors good and very engaging. Felt a little unnecessarily sinister at times. Older kids (id say aged 9 and over but all different) might be a bit over it anyway so perhaps would be better to make it more fun rather than scary for the younger kids who are truely engaged in the experience.

Very disappointing and quite a confusing experience - Quite poor. Rushed through different rooms to 'find' Shrek (or at least I think that's what was happening). Quite confusing, the plot was poor. Not what we were expecting. The actors are well drilled but it lacks something. Even our 7 year old got to the end and said - Was that it? Reasonably interactive, it just doesn't really feel like anything is done with purpose, it's all a bit weird. Thankfully we have merlin passes but had I paid for this, I would be extremely disappointed

Dreadful - total let down. 😞 - On arrival I was exceptionally frustrated to be almost bullied into having our photo taken.
I had to insist with vigour, that I did not want it done. This occurred throughout.
My rather shy grandchildren were left at the back on a lot of occasions with adults in front of them.
The instructions given at the start were not up held by the staff throughout the experience, regarding bringing children to the front.
The actions in some of the scenes were wholly inappropriate, and I refer in particular to the bar “person” gagging up into a cup, then pretending to swallow it. Absolutely disgusting!
The experience is supposed to reflect the joy and fun of Shrek. I found it dark and sinister in places and it terrified my 8 year old in places, and he loves Shrek. I found the whole thing cheap and tacky, and a complete waste of money as it did not represent a well loved story / movie for us.
It was full of strobe lighting and very little warning of this. There was no reference to the possible motion sickness on the “ bus ride “
It is advertised as being 90 minutes, yet we were out within an hour.
Total waste of money, that wouldn’t recommend to any Shrek fan.

Not worth a visit - We visited with our 10 and 15 year olds, we’re all big Shrek fans so we thought this would be right up our street. How wrong! Firstly, it’s just not clean. From the stinking filthy toilets before the ‘attraction’ starts to the broken dirty exhibits it’s not a good look.
You see a few dreamworks bits then it’s onto a ‘magical bus ride’ which is a very very poor 4D cinema type ride, however you could see the tops of the screens and the movement seemed to be broken as the only interaction was a light spray of water. It was pretty boring.
Then it’s onto… rooms and rooms, tiny rooms and tiny corridors of a weak story around finding Shrek. At no point do you see him until right at the end as a projection and then as a meet and greet which you have to pay for a photo - you can’t even take one on your phone.
You barely see the main characters in Shrek and you can’t have your photo taken with donkey, Fiona, Lord Farquaad etc. Shreks kids and the dragon aren’t featured at all. In parts the already claustrophobic rooms go pitch black, terrifying the smaller kids. No one seemed to be enjoying it at all.
There’s no where to sit anywhere so as an ambulant disabled person I was in agony by the end. But oh no this dull experience was extended by being stuck in a queue for multiple (paid for!) photo ops. It’s just a long money making scheme for Merlin it seems.
Such an utter waste of an hour in London. Luckily we used our annual passes so we didn’t waste any money. I can’t recommend it at all.
