Adventure, history and food tasting - I thought it was brilliant. It showed me parts of Shoreditch I didn't know about. The other great thing about this is that it encouraged me try mexican cuisine that would be at the bottom of the menu list. Not anymore

Another fantastic few hours with Gourmaze - Second time doing Gourmaze and again did not disappoint. Done the Taco Trade and loved the location, just the right amount of walking. Food was great, of good quality and I was pretty full by the end of it. I’m not the brain of Britain but found the clues were just the right amount of testing, some had to put a little more thought into. The only thing I would have liked was there to have been a sweet treat also at the very end. We had tacos, Torticiloos, empanadas and another taco, even just a little scoop of ice cream would have rounded it off nicely. Great fun storyline to the treasure hunt and all the vendors were ‘in’ on it.

Great day out - Great fun, food was excellent and plenty of it. You get to see different parts of London which you wouldn’t normally see or know are there. Some clues were easy & some were difficult. This is the 2nd one we have done & would definitely do again.

Walking talking and eating around Shoreditch - It was the long weekend and my daughter and I wanted to do something to get out of the house. This was a last minute booking and it made the weekend great. We had so much fun exploring Shoreditch and taking pics of all the art we came across. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great activity.

Such a fun work social event! - We had such a fun time figuring out the clues in Shoreditch to find our next taco spot. It was a great way to explore Shoreditch and discover food spots we wouldn't normally consider - and we got so much food, it was great value for money. Would recommend!

A Fun and Unique Family Day Out in Shoreditch - We recently did the Gourmaze Taco Trail in Shoreditch as a family day out and honestly had such a good time. It was something completely different to what we’d normally do and ended up being a really fun, interactive experience for all of us.
We started around 12pm and finished at about 4pm, although the actual trail itself only took us around an hour and a half to complete. We purposely took our time, stopped to eat properly, explored the area, looked at the artwork and scenery around Shoreditch.
The WhatsApp clue system was really well done and easy to follow. We liked that it gave clear instructions and options to select and being able to pause the timer, swap leaders and change phones made it really convenient for a family group. The clues were slightly harder than we expected and it made it more interactive and satisfying when we worked them out together.
The food was really tasty and there was actually quite a lot of it. Just bear in mind that although it’s not full sit-down meals, the food does add up quite quickly over a short period of time! We definitely didn’t leave hungry.
The staff at the first and second stops especially were lovely and really friendly. The only slight downside was the waiting time at a couple of places, as we assumed the bookings would mean food was ready a bit quicker.
One thing to be aware of is that there is quite a lot of walking involved, so definitely dress appropriately and be prepared if it’s a hot day like it was for us. We also noticed other groups doing the trail around the same time and it wasn’t a problem but if you want to keep the clues a surprise maybe avoid setting off directly behind another group.
In terms of value for money, we thought it was fair. Obviously you need to factor in extra costs like drinks, travel to and from Shoreditch and anything you do afterwards. We ended up going to the arcade afterwards (I think it was called NQ64) which was a really fun way to finish the day.
Overall, we’d definitely recommend it if you want something different, interactive and family-friendly to do in London. A really positive day out and a great way to explore parts of Shoreditch we’d never seen before.

Great day out - I received this as a gift for me and my partner and we had a great time. The game is interactive, informative but not overly challenging. The food portions are generous and tasty.
We did have slightly poor service at Los Gordos in Boxpark as the staff were outside having a smoke for a while so took 15 mins to be served and then another 20 mins for food, which did slow down the day. However other than that it was excellent
