Amazing day and experience - What a wonderful day! Today we visited the zoo, and it turned out to be an experience we will never forget. As a birthday surprise, we had booked the Penguin Experience, and that alone was worth more than five stars! A very big thank you to Masie and Susan!! From beginning to end, they made the entire experience truly unforgettable. They were incredibly friendly and took all the time in the world to share their knowledge and passion with us. We learned so much, we were allowed to help prepare the penguins’ food, feed them, and keep them entertained. Everything was done with the utmost respect for the animals. We also gained great insight into how the zoo cares for its animals and how much attention is given to preserving their natural behavior and wellbeing. All we can say is: a huge congrats for so much love and dedication to both animals and people. Beyond the experience itself, the zoo is absolutely lovely. Highly recommended for young and old, and for every animal lover out there.

Capybara Encounter - We had a Capybara experience, it was outstanding and worth every penny and more I would recommend this my 9 year old was amazed. The host Maisey was also fantastic and the whole experience was perfect we will be booking again and most probably again.

Great day. But do better for the Tigers. - Great day, came for 22q with the zoo and Evelina hospital, had use of a room for the day and the food was great: we really enjoyed the zoo, but please do something about the tigers. One was just pacing up and down constantly and looked distressed. Their enclosure looks so tiny. We went to Colchester zoo last year where the tigers had loads of room, water and a big rock. I found it shocking and upsetting seeing the tigers like this, Please sort this out for them, it’s not fair on them at all.

Overall a very average experience - Not terribly impressed with our visit. Very poor signage, generally very run down and virtually no staff in hand. Also little focus on conservation and some areas seemed way too small.

A very limited range of animals as most moved to Whipsnade - Went to LZ after many years and was a bit disappointed. It’s got a very limited range of animals and apparently most have been moved to Whipsnade now. If your looking to visit a zoo, give the London one a miss and just go to Whipsnade as seems all the animals are slowly being moved there

Poor Signage - London Zoo visit on a winters afternoon. The Zoo was quiet with many mothers and young children in pushchairs. We didn’t get to see all the animals due to timing but wasn’t much to see that weren’t hiding. It looked like works were happening in different areas, although no evidence of works actually taking place. The zoo signage around the zoo was extremely poor, and based on previous reviewers experience, the Zoo is in absolutely ‘zero’ hurry to do a single thing about it. The gift shop is overpriced even for a low quality pen. Any staff ‘seen’ were very friendly and, they have lots of volunteers.

Lady was rude - Wasn't happy with the women who served us at the paybox number 5 today. She was very rude and her customer interaction was terrible. Requested to buy 2 senior tickets as my parents are 70 and 67 years of age but she needed us to provide proof. They are tourist and she wasn't believing us so still charged us full amount for all of us even tho my dad has a disability so was scared to asked for carer pass as she was very firm with her attitude. Was really expensive to visit but had a OK day. Penguins were amazing, lions were adorable. Best part was rainforest and in with the lemurs. Just upsetting when we left that we found out on website that we can get a carer pass if anyone is disabled. Sad the lady who served us was very rude and not helpful that we couldn't benefit from this and also paying extra for seniors when proof is a must :-(

Very sad experience - Visited on saturday and was in the right queue to buy tickets at the front before security check then a lady sent me to another que as she proberly thought would be easier for me with 2 buggies. Unfortunately that side was membership que and I wasn't a member so felt discriminated by the lady for feeling sorry for me and sending me this way which is not very good. So I had to que again to buy tickets and it was very sad feeling at the start and then only having 2 pay boxes open to buy tickets was ridiculous with long queue. Start of this experience was bad and then too many works taking place without clear signages which direction to go especially for capybaras which is in a hidden right turn. Please improve on signage so it is easy for us customers to navigate around...... I visited after 3 years and that time everything was good and spot on but today was really horrible experience especially at the start when I was discriminated. Plz improve your services or customers will definately not be visiting a second time around!!!!
