Lao Cai - Sa Pa – Experience Fansipan Mountain via Cable Car (B/L)

Ga Lào Cai - The driver will be waiting at the arrival gate with a sign displaying your name. You will be transported to a hotel in Sapa for breakfast, allowing you to refresh before the tour.

Sapa - If you are already in SAPA town, you will be picked up from your hotel, Airbnb, or homestay.

Fansipan Mountain - Travel by car from Sa Pa to Fansipan, the tallest peak in the Indochina mountains. While it typically takes one or two days to hike to the summit, you will enjoy a ride on the three-rope cable car system, reaching the top in just 15-20 minutes. This modern cable car, the first of its kind in Asia, spans 6.2 km from Muong Hoa Valley to the peak, with 35 cabins and 6 main pillars spaced 1 km apart. From the summit, take in the breathtaking views of Sapa, Muong Hoa Valley, Hoang Lien National Forest, and the picturesque landscape of Lai Chau province. Afterward, you will return to Sapa and have lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon exploring Sapa town at your leisure.

Sa Pa Trekking to Muong Hoa Valley – Visit Hmong, Giay, and Red Dao Villages (B/L)

Muong Hoa Valley - After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to Muong Hoa Valley (6 km), one of the most beautiful valleys in Northwestern Vietnam. The drive takes you through a narrow road between the Hoang Lien Son and Den Thang mountain ranges. This valley is home to several ethnic minority groups and features the largest collection of terraced paddy fields in the area. Enjoy the stunning views of the majestic mountains and the terraced fields’ gentle curves hugging the hillsides. Take photos and walk through the valley to reach Lao Chai village, home to the Black Hmong minority. Here, you can observe the Giay people, a small minority group found only in Vietnam’s Northern highlands. Enjoy a relaxing lunch in a local house.

Giang Ta Chai Village - After lunch, continue hiking for 3 km over hills and through a bamboo forest. A brief stop will be made at a waterfall before arriving at Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority. Engage with villagers and observe their daily activities. A car will pick you up to return to Sa Pa for an overnight stay.

Sa Pa – Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Herbal Bath – Lao Cai – Ha Noi (B/L)

Sapa - Depart from Sa Pa town and trek to Suoi Ho village to see tea plantations and cardamom gardens. Follow the buffalo trails to visit the welcoming villages of the Black Hmong minority in Ma Tra.

Ta Phin Village - After passing a school and enjoying scenic views en route, a picnic lunch will be served. After lunch, continue trekking to Ta Phin village to visit the Red Dao people and explore handicraft shops. In the afternoon, indulge in a herbal bath. The Red Dao people will prepare a bath by boiling a mix of fresh and dried plants and bark in a large wok over a charcoal fire. This water is then transferred to a wooden barrel tub, ready for you to soak and relieve your aches, pains, and worries in the privacy of a separate bathhouse.

Lao Cai Province - Afterward, you will be picked up by a private van and transferred to Lao Cai station to board the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Sapa - If you are staying in SAPA, you will be dropped off in SAPA town.
