Mostar and Kravice Waterfall! - Took this trip to Mostar and Kravice Waterfall! Both were amazing experiences! Definitely not to be missed! Such an enjoyable tour, made even better with a very informative guide/ driver called Luca. He provided information continuously throughout the whole trip! Had plenty of time to explore both venues. The colour of the water in Mostar and at Kravice will remain in my mind forever! Mostar had lots of great places to dine and the food is delicious! Wear comfortable shoes because the path to the bridge and beyond is very hard to walk on. There are raised cobbles and the bridge can also be slippery! The Turkish House is also interesting shpukd you want to visit it. Some tours include it as this one does otgers not but do try to go! Overall its a great day out lasting about 10 hours. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend a day! - Long but very interesting day. Got pick up from the hotel at 6:00 and got back at 20:00. Our guide, Maria, was full of information and told us about the history and present of Bosnia and Hertzegovina, Kroatia and times in Jugoslavia before it broke down. The waterfalls were amaizing and city of old Mostard beautiful. I can highly recomend this activity for your holiday.

Excellent day out - We booked the 7 person tour so we were in a smaller vehicle which was very comfortable. Important because you are spending quite some time travelling.
Lora, our guide was a very competent driver and was also brilliant at telling the story of her homeland. As you will know, a complicated story, which she was able to convey clearly. She also picked some really nice photogenic spots to stop along the way.
The Kravice waterfalls are well worth the visit and if you have time do take a swim. The entrance to the pool is very stoney so it’s good if you have footwear you can use. Also changing facilities are limited (there are toilets).
Mostar was a real surprise - very hot but well worth a visit our guide Johnny gave lots of really good insights into the history of Mostar including a great explanation about the bridge jumpers and we actually got to see some of the jumps.
We also opted for the Turkish house visit although Johnny preferred the title Bosnian house.
He also gave us a really good tip at the end of the tour that we should pay a couple of euros at one of the mosques to give entry to a courtyard overlooking the river where we got some brilliant photographs of the famous bridge.
Top tips.
Do not forget your passport. You will be passing through at least three border controls

Remember to take euros with you as many places will not take credit cards

Drink plenty of water

Don’t forget suncream

Excellent - We loved the kravice waterfalls, it was so refreshing the water was around 12c but don't let that stop you! Very well organised guide and driver, very informative on sightseeing and telling stories of the past yugloslavian reign.

A must do! - A must do! Simple as that! We were staying in Cavtat. Pick up was easy. 15 people on the tour. Everyone from a different nationality but a really friendly group. Your guide was spot on, just gave you the good stuff. Easy border cross now the new bridge is there. The waterfalls are stunning. Take your trunks as you can swim! I had to go in my boxers as couldn't resist. They’d dried off before the bus as it was that hot. Mostar is the perfect place for lunch after and a really unique town. Really recommended!

A must see! - Excellent tour with informative guide, Maria & lovely friendly driver. Great team! Had adequate time at key locations. Interesting hearing about the politics and history of Croatia and Bosnia. Would recommend. Plenty of rest breaks. Things to note are the 6am start time (not 7am) and 12 hour day (not 10).

Long day take cash - The places were beautiful and the tour guide was great it is just a very long day and a lot of time on the coach. It would be helpful if In the information pack you advise people to take cash as I had zero as used my card everywhere as we had to pay 3euros tourist tax and then 10 euros into the waterfall which I thought would already be included. Then all the places in Mostar only took cash for souvenirs and drinks so I had to go all day without as much as getting a drink. I withdrew money in Mostar but as it is Bosnian money I got just enough for food and the waterfalls and with a fee I didn’t withdraw anymore. Had I known before hand that you can use euros I would have withdrew before I came to the trip. Overall I don’t think I’d recommend due to it been a full day on a bus especially if you are picked up in cavtat as it’s 5.5 hours after all the pick ups are done to you getting to Mostar and it’s a long day.

Such a shame - To start,do not believe the start time if travelling from Cavtat. Even though it clearly stated an 0700 pick up from our hotel,it was 0600. We were on the small group tour. The guide was friendly and organised. On the way she suggested we had a bit less time in Mostar and a bit more at the waterfalls. As no one on the bus knew any different we went with the suggestion. I advise if you do the tour, have longer in Mostar and a lot less at the falls ( see comments below). We thought Mostar old town was lovely with a lot of history and the guide was very informative. However,he walked so far in front of the group that at times we lost him in the crowds of people. But,by the time the tour finished, and a quick lunch,we had to rush back to the bus giving no time at all to investigate the town further. We arrived at the falls, which are fantastic. But the beauty of the falls is totally spoiled by the bars, restaurants , loud music and people doing the conga to make it worth spending more than 15 minutes there. In summary, travel very well organised, but given the length of the day,13 hours, we would not recommend this tour unless you are much, much closer.
