Good throughout - The tour was very informative and the tour guide made very sympathetic even because of sudden rain half an hour longer. Highly recommended!!!

Worth while. - Explanations of the history of the city were very knowledgeable and comprehensive. Our guide took us at an appropriate pace.

Walking tour of the river front of Ljubljana . - The walk through the city center and along the river area. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us several interesting facts regarding Ljubljana ‘s history.

A walk through history and culture - Ljubljana is a quaint city and the important sights are all within a short walk. So a walking tour is the ideal way to get to know the city. In a walking tour, having a good guide is critical and our guide Alan did not disappoint. The only dampener was literally the weather, as the rain came soon after the walk began. But Alan did a good job of moving from spot to spot when there were short breaks in between the showers.

Good tour for a snapshot of the city - Great short walking tour of the city. They pack quite a lot of history in a short time. Guide Alan was great. Value for money is about right. Castle and funicular is a bonus add on.

Would recommend first-time-visitors - We booked this spontaneously 45 minutes before the start and had no problems. You could also buy the trip directly at the tourist Info, where you have to meet. We had a funny and lovely guide which name started with an M, but for the life of me i can't remember. She was knowledgeable, interacted with all the tour "members" - we were around 13 people -, and made us feel special (which is nice since the tour itself is not tailored and rather "standard-y", but that is totally fine for the price!!). We are very happy we did the tour and didn't just roam around aimlessly. For us, this being the first time in Ljubljana, it was a nice small walk with interesting information varying from architecture, history, general slovenian life to fun facts. Easy to digest info with an enthusiastic guide! Just be aware that even though it says you can bring dogs, they are not allowed on the funicular and in some buildings, so you'd have to miss out on those. If there was a "second part" with more in depth info or a bigger walking radius, we would book it for sure the next time!

Fantastic Ljubjana experience - Our tour guide was fantastic! Learning the history of Ljubjana and about the architecture was very interesting. The Castle had lots to explore. I would recommend it as a way to get a good sense/see Ljubjana old town.

A must do - It was very informative and in depth of history. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the city to learn the background

Good starter tour - Good little walking tour and very informative guide. It wasn’t a long tour so you didn’t get board but a starter to get your bearings and a visit to the castle with funicular was fun.

Not my best walking tour - We were about 20. No radio system with headphones. Could not hear and members asking more than 3 times to speak up did not help. This 2h tour did not have a plot to make the tour a story. It was an endless count of details without a connection between.
