This stunning river is renowned for its abundant elephant and lion populations, so stay alert to catch sight of the wildlife both in the water and along the riverbanks. Relish a fresh buffet lunch with a variety of choices at a picturesque lodge located on the riverbank. Afterwards, transition to a game drive in the National Park. A beautiful blend of Adventure, Nature and Comfort!! - We absolutely had a great Safari experience, both the game drive and cruise were fantastic. Hotel pick up and drop off by Vincent was on time and the Zambia - Botswana transfers were smooth. We saw a variety of animals up close with the highlight of the day being seeing a number of lions which are difficult to see in so many Safari drives!
Buffet lunch at Mowana Safari Resort was delicious and it brought back good memories of our stay there in 2016! Great Safari cruise, with unlimited supply of drinks and the guides were knowledgeable, passionate and friendly making the experience more enjoyable.
Mwangelwa and Southern Wild Tours & Travel team are simply the best. Their communication is clear & timely, activity charge way cheaper compared to the one offered by the hotel, they are friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommend!!

Chobe Day Trip to remember - Our Chobe Day Trip was well organised by Southern Wild Travel and Tours. The hotel pick-up at 7:00 a.m. was punctual, and the Botswana-side partners were professional and knowledgeable.
We enjoyed the entire experience, including a good game drive, a delicious buffet lunch at Mowana Safari Resort and Spa, and a river safari where we saw many hippos and crocodiles. We also appreciated the stop to view and photograph the Kazungula Bridge.
Mwangelwa and Southern Wild Travel and Tours delivered a great Chobe experience.

Absolutely phenomenal experience with Mwangelwa and Southern Wild Travel! - From start to finish, everything about my Chobe day trip was seamless and unforgettable. Mwangelwa personally guided me through the entire border crossing process, making what could have been complicated feel effortless. He shared so much knowledge during our drives to and from the park—answering every question with patience, warmth, and genuine passion for the region.
The coordination with his counterpart, Moses, on the Botswana side was flawless. The Chobe River cruise and game drive were truly dream experiences—breathtaking wildlife, incredible scenery, and smooth logistics the entire way.
It was a pleasure organizing everything with Mwangelwa with Southern Wild Travel, and I can’t wait to visit again. I’ll absolutely be recommending Mwangelwa and his team to everyone I know looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in this part of Africa.

‘Wait for the magic’ - An unforgettable day trip! Victoria Falls was absolutely stunning and speaks for itself with your eyes and feelings—truly a wonder of the world. Crossing into Botswana was another highlight, where we could see four countries from the bridge. The safari began with a land game drive, and as our guide said, “wait for the magic”—and he was right! Over ten elephants crossed right in front of us, an experience we'll never forget. We were also lucky to see giraffes, lions, hippos up close, and more. Lunch at a beautiful hotel offered plenty of delicious options before we set off on a river cruise. Seeing animals from the water, especially a swimming elephant right beside us, was incredible. We were a group of 20 visiting Zambia for a wedding, and Mwangelwa and his colleague were amazing—helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond. Highly recommend them and this trip!

Fantastic experience - I had a fantastic day excursion to Chobe National Park. Chobe Safari drive and Chobe river cruise been the perfectly organised tours where I met nature in all it’s glory. Mr. Mwangelwa Mubita is the contact person who organised all my activities in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. He is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful young man who made my holiday in the region unforgettable. With Southern Wild Travel and Tours you are in safe hands and they truly do their best to make your experience memorable.

Fun & hassle free - Great tour, the guides were knowledgeable, warm and welcoming, they took really good care of us and gave us a lot of background information. Would highly recommend a guide around the falls. Transfers across the borders were also seamless!

Professional and valuable tour - I applied for these kinds of tours for the first time, and luckily their service was totally beyond my expectation.
We mainly talked with the guide Mwangelwa from my hotel to the border, his picking up time was very punctual and during the time to the border, he was talkative and safe driver.
Due to the border, he couldn't attend it after entering Botswana, but he handed over another guide perfectly.
In the tour, we started the gaming. Sometimes it rained heavily and normally there were less chance to see the wild animals due to this rainy season, but they fully utilized their knowledge to find them and exchanged info to other drivers once they found it. After that, we joined the cruise to see it, at this time, wd also saw many animals such as elephant, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo.
In conclusion, I was totally satisfied with their service taking and hospitality. Strongly recommend to join this tour.

Mwangelwa made our transfer smooth, easy and really enjoyable. I‘d always recommend him as a driver! - We booked a transfer from the border to Livingstone and also a transfer from our hotel to the Zimbabwe side of vic falls. Mwangelwa was our driver and he is truly amazing. He‘s a very safe driver and shares all his knowledge about the region and the vic falls with you. Mwangelwa was always on time and helped us with the border office. We can only talk about our experience with Mwangelwa and if he is your driver you will have a great time, travel safely and meet an amazing person. He is a true diamond and we wish him all the best.
