This is not a LUXURY trip - We have done this trip before and it’s a great trip, but not with this company. We were picked up from our hotel and taken across the boarder by a lovely young man and met by our guide who was great, really knowledgeable and fun. We had some great sightings of everything, especially the lions, we cannot fault the amazing animals that we saw, but this trip is by no means luxury. The car we were picked up in was shabby and smelly, the safari truck was the worst we had ever been on, seats were broken, the number plate hanging off, and we have been on lots of safaris, so we know. The lodge we turned up to for our lunch wasn’t luxury either, it was a mediocre buffet with so many people crammed into a soulless large room. We then were taken on the boat safari, the boat was no better shabby and uncomfortable. I gave it four stars because of the two really nice guys that looked after us, and the great sightings we had, this was definitely not a luxury trip, but it was private.
