The hotel pick ups commence at around 07:00am, with guests being driven from Livingstone to Kazungula, a journey of about an hour, to a one-stop border crossing. Here, you’ll complete your passport protocols for both Zambia and Botswana right after traversing the newly built Kazungula bridge. A guide from Botswana will be ready to meet you there, from whence you’ll drive to our Botswana office for a brief rundown of the day’s activities.
Depending on the guides’ decision, you’ll either begin with a game drive, proceed to lunch, and then end with a river safari cruise, or you’ll follow the schedule in reverse order.
The park is home to numerous animal species including the African painted dog, blue wildebeest, Cape buffalo, civet, crocodile, giraffe, hippopotamus, hyena, leopard, lion, puku (an antelope species classed as Near Threatened), savanna elephant, tseessebe, zebra, among others.
- Kindly be advised to get a Kaza Uni-Visa, tThe Uni-Visa will allow tourists to travel freely between Zimbabwe and Zambia, within a 30 day period from the date of their first entry. This same Visa will also allow those who go out to visit Botswana for a day trip come back into either countries without paying for any extra visa fees. Uni-Visa fee is pegged at $50pp, payable at the first port of entry and is valid for 30 days. Please be encouraged to try and bring cash for the visa payment in the event that the credit card machines are not working at the time of arrival

Trip of a lifetime - Excellent team who went above and beyond to ensure we made the most amazing memories. A fantastic day. Saw so many elephants, lions and a leopard.

Amazing - everything from start to finish was amazing. We were lucky to have some some rare game sightings. The guides were all great engaging and fun. We had pretty high expectations, but everything exceeded these. Thanks all.

Wonderful educational experience - Top experience had! Many different animal species seen, breathtaking views, friendly and attentive guides who give a lot of explanation and make sure you have the opportunity to take the time to take enough pictures. Also got delicious lunch on the way in a beautiful lodge. Really recommended 👌

3 Days of Tours - Happy Family - My family used Cherish for many tours, Chobe day trip, Victoria Falls - Zambia and Zimbabwe, Zambia morning safari and Rhino Walk, Microlight flight, and airport transfers.
We enjoyed all of trips! They are always on time, their driver's and vehicles are safe. If you need a trip into town to pickup souvenirs, snacks, or beers, they can help transport you. Easy to contact locally using WhatsApp.
We really enjoyed using the trip leaders Mwangelwa and Jonas. They were really helpful and full of knowledge.

Fabulous Zambia - The staff of Cherish Travel were very helpful and polite. I would like to single out Mwangelwa who was fantastic. The trip to Chobe was seamless especially crossing the border to Botswana. Chobe river cruise was excellent and we saw many wildlife.
The walking tour of Victoria Falls. Was the highlight of my trip. Our guides were very knowledgeable

World class safari experience - Fabulous safari experience…half the day on a relaxing boat trip on the river seeing elephants, crocs and hippos in their natural environment.
The other half of the adventure is a half day game drive again seeing elephants, buffalo, giraffes with a great lunch between activities

Definitely recommend this trip - A very good experience! The guides were very professional and everything was organized well. Everything went smoothly and without delay.
We were pleasantly surprised by the lunch. It was a buffet at a very nice resort.
Animals we saw (cloudy and in the raining season):
Lion
Elefant
Buffalo
Impala
Hippo
Kudu
Giraffe
Eagles and other birds
If this is the only national park you are visiting we would recommend a multi day trip, so you can see more of the park. We were also told that there are no rhinos in the park because of a high risk of poachers

Unforgettable Chobe Full Day Trip – Highly Recommend! - Cherish Travel and Tours organized an absolutely fantastic Chobe Full Day Trip! The tour included a half-day game drive and a half-day river cruise, with a nice lunch break at a nearby lodge in between. The entire experience was seamless and exceeded my expectations.
The river cruise was my personal favorite, offering incredible views of wildlife--especially hippos and crocodiles. The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights about the animals and ecosystems we encountered. Over the course of the day, I was thrilled to see a wide variety of wildlife, including many elephants, several antelope species, a couple lions, hippos, buffalo, and even a leopard!
The organization was flawless from start to finish. My driver, Mwangelwa, picked me up promptly at 7am from my hotel in Livingstone and made the border crossing and immigration process between Zambia and Botswana effortless. Mwangelwa was not only professional but also very personable, making the drive enjoyable with engaging conversation.
I highly recommend Cherish Travel and Tours for their excellent planning and the unforgettable experiences they provide. This tour is a must-do for anyone seeking a one-day safari experience to Chobe from Livingstone or elsewhere in the area!

Fruitful - The guides were so professional from the Botswana border ,during our game drive and at the end! Our guide made sure we had the best experience! We took a lot of pictures and made new friends from Mexico who became my clients later
