As I stepped into the Moonshine Saloon in Liverpool, I felt as though I had been transported back in time to the rugged and untamed Wild West. From the moment I donned my Western attire, provided by the town’s tailor, I was no longer Amara, the yoga instructor and wellness coach, but a daring bootlegger ready to join Clyde Cassidy’s infamous empire.

The saloon was alive with the sounds of laughter and the clinking of glasses, as fellow outlaws gathered around tables to deal cards and roll dice. The actors, fully committed to their roles, brought the scene to life with their engaging performances and witty banter. It was a refreshing departure from my usual serene retreats, yet it offered a different kind of connection and camaraderie that was equally fulfilling.
