Don’t miss this Fado experience - Fantastic experience ,I would recommend to anyone who is interested to learn about Fado. Great musicians and voices and engaging commentary!

Great first-time experience with Fado - I was unsure whether I would like Fado, so I booked this short introductory show (50 minutes) to learn more about it and give it a try. I am so glad I did. The description of the music and the cultural aspects behind it were informative and added a lot to my appreciation of the music. The music was wonderfully artistic. The gentleman playing the Portuguese guitar was awe-inspiring, but both musicians were very talented. The singer was passionate and moving. This is a great introduction to Fado and well worth the time and minimal expense. Highly recommended.

Very authentic Fado experience - I have wanted to listen to Fado since the moment I arrived in Portugal, and I am so glad I decided to go here. I was looking for an authentic experience that did not feel so touristy and this truly felt like a living-room concert. The venue is beautiful, the port delicious, and most important: the artists Very skilled. They know how to keep the crowd's attention and showed us a very unique insight into this beautiful peace of portugese heritage.

Fado to warm hearts and minds - I was looking for a good fado show, without much expectation. I've been lucky. The house is beautiful and the show a fado class with music of the best quality. The port wine warms the sympathy of the artists who engage everyone with the music and its history and mastery.

Awesome! Highly recommend - It was a really great experience! The venue is marvelous. The owner greets us and we had a welcome drink in the bar which looks really amazing. The fado show was awesome, voices and guitars were full with powerful deep emotions. What made the evening even more special was the educational aspect: the show offered clear, engaging insights into the history and meaning of fado.

Awesome Experience - The evening was delightful and educational in the heart of ancient Lisbon. We learned appreciation of Portuguese culture and history while having fun! Really enjoyed the music! We highly recommend this experience for travelers to Lisbon!

Ideal place to discover fado - This is the place to understand and listen to fado. The explanations (some in French if not in English) follow the songs accompanied by the Portuguese guitar and the Spanish guitar. The welcome is warm.

Educational and Emotional....... - This is such an emotional experience! The learn the history of Fado music and poetry with it was awe inspiring. Learning about just how important Amália da Piedade Rodrigues is to Fado music and the respect she has is truly memorable. The raw emotion poured into the delivery of the music will impact you in such a way you would not expect. While I could not understand the Portuguese lyrics, the tones and emotions with the music was a universal communication that we all understood perfectly. The Portuguese guitar is a beautiful instrument and one that I personally would love to see be used in more mainstream, worldwide music. Our bartender afterwards was so much fun and a wizard mixologist! After the show, I explored more Fado music and I can tell you that here in the United States, plenty of my neighbors will be hearing Fado music coming from my backyard this summer. I highly recommend this show!
