Barbara was fantastic! We weren't really sure what to expect since this food tour was a gift and we had never done one before. It was way, way better than expected. Really enjoyed getting info about the history and the architecture of the neighborhood along with the amazing food! We would definitely recommend this food tour!
I enjoyed every part of the food tour! I went with my family and with two very picky eaters. Everyone walked away satisfied with a full belly and amazing food. The guide, Barbara was wonderful and gave us an interesting and fun tour of the area full of little details about local personalities, past personalities, architecture, and other fun facts. I loved every part but my favorite was Murray Hill Market. The young man(with red hair- wish I could recall his name!) who talked to us was fabulous. He made me want to pick up and move right to the area!! He and Barbara spoke of the owners of the market in such awe it made me want to meet them too!! The food though..... amazing!!! I highly recommend this tour!!
Guide was excellent and food was fantastic. One suggestion a representative from the market sat and talked with us which was very informative, maybe other site could do the same. Had fun!!!! Please expand to other neighborhoods. Going to Tremont in a few weeks and looking forward to it!
