The mineral spring and swimming pool are open until dark, while the bar serves guests late into the evening and early morning until the last guest departs. Blue Hole is approximately 30 minutes from Negril near Little Bay and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Montego Bay. For the adventurous, there is a 22-foot jump or a ladder to descend into the refreshing mineral springs.

Loved the Blue Hole and our driver, Kevin! - Giving it 5 stars for the Blue Hole and our driver Kevin! The Blue Hole was awesome! The people there were great. Kevin was great too! We didn’t really care for Rick’s food, but the two jumping cliffs are high and fun.

Our tour guide was awesome! - Our tour guide Kevin was very professional and patient with us. We can be a bit slow-moving LOL. Kevin took us to the Blue Mineral Hole. We got to jump in and enjoy the cool water. There is a nearby hotel and bar. If you walk up to the top of the hotel where there is a wonderful photo op of the lush mountains.
We then headed to Rick's Cafe in Negril. We went on Christmas day, so there weren't too many people there. My boyfriend was brave and jumped the cliff into the ocean. I sat down and enjoyed a beer and some food.
My only regret was not knowing it took two hours to get to these destinations from our hotel in Montego Bay. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to do something out of the normal excursions in Montego Bay.

Puff puff - Amazing experience, I love the marijuana so much. Would do this again especially for the marijuana. Great tour and friendly driver. Both locations we lit.

Great Excursion and Tour Guide! - Wonderful experience all around. Our driver was magnificent and the blue hole was absolutely gorgeous. The what seems to be family running the experience was outstanding. Highly recommend doing this one of a kind excursion!

Fantastic Trip off the Resort! - I booked this trip mainly for the Rick's Cafe portion but the Blue Hole Mineral Spring was a delightful surprise! I booked for my husband and myself plus 2 other couples. It was my birthday and one of the couples anniversary. It was about an hour and half drive from Montego Bay to the first stop at Blue Hole. Kevin was our driver, and he was AWESOME! We are a bit of a "loud" and "fun" group so bless him for putting up with the Turtle clan for the whole day! The jump into the mineral spring was a bit intimidating but it's worth it! There is also a pool with the mineral spring water if you don't want to jump. All the guys (i guess they work there?) were great about helping people jump and going up and down the ladder. We did order food - beware it will take a long time to get your food - but it's worth it!
Kevin also got us to Rick's Cafe in time to do some cliff jumping and eat/drink for the sunset. All in all definitely worth the full day and the money!

Off the beaten path - We had a group of 6 and our driver Patrick made sure that our day was well spent. Our children were so brave to jump into the blue hole but my friends I just soak up in the mineral pool.
Then we head over to the Rick’s I went to lowest level and jumped. However I just swim in the pool. While the kids jumped. Food was great but the best part was the sunset!!!! The cliff divers were great too.

The driver put our life in danger! - Our driver picked up up at 12:00 from the Hilton hotel in Montigo Bay. We did not arrive to the blue hole until 3:00 when I was told it was only 1 1/2 hr away. The blue hole was nothing special. The pool there was green and I did not get in it. We left then Our driver got into a wreck. We were in the middle of nowhere. Our driver gets out starts yelling at the other driver I have several videos but this site will only let you upload pictures. We were terrified. Our driver then goes over to his friends house. It was a hut with several men out front that look like drug dealers. He then told these men to go get the person he got into an accident with and make her give them money. I have never been so scared this went on for over an hour. Our driver finally gets us to Rick’s at 4:33. I did enjoy Rick’s after many drinks to calm my nerves. I demand a refund for such a unprofessional driver and putting our life in danger
