After the museum, the adventure continues outdoors where you will be surrounded by a stunning array of colors. In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted, featuring 700 different tulip varieties, all sourced from our own nursery. The show garden also offers several special photo spots for capturing the perfect picture!

At the museum, visitors embark on a global journey of the tulip. From its origins in Kazakhstan around the year 1000 to its iconic status in the Netherlands today, guests will discover everything about the tulip. The museum offers an interactive experience to learn about the bulb cultivation cycle, featuring both modern machinery and historical artifacts from before 1950.
Following the museum visit, the Experience continues outdoors, where guests will be immersed in a stunning array of colors. The show garden boasts 1 million tulips across 700 different varieties, all sourced from the museum’s own nursery. Special photo points are available in the garden for capturing the perfect picture!
After the Tulip Experience, guests will explore the breathtaking Keukenhof flower gardens. This spring, over 7 million bulbs will bloom, showcasing a total of 800 tulip varieties. It promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience!
Transportation for pick-up and drop-off is provided in The Hague.
- We recommend to visit the Keukenhof in April because the most flowers are then in bloom.
