If you are coming from Lisbon, head to Cais do Sodré and take a beautiful train ride along the ocean. we decide were the waves are better only one or two before(when we can see the forecast): if Guincho beach,exit in Cascais, uber or bus to guincho if Carcavelos beach,exit at carcavelos station.

Couldn’t have chose a better school! - More than just surf lessons, this was an unforgettable experience. This was my first time surfing and I couldn’t have chosen a better school! The instructors were very patient, knowledgeable, and always encouraging. The equipment was in great condition, and the atmosphere was relaxed and positive. Thank you for the great memories — I’ll definitely be back!

Great Surfing Experience - This experience was great- you get plenty of surf time and the instructors are fantastic- they’ll give you plenty of tips throughout on how to improve, and because we had 3 instructors with our group it never felt like they were too busy to help you. All skill levels are catered for, so don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner (like us). Would definitely recommend trying this if you’re looking to give surfing a go!

my first surfing lesson was unforgettable! - The lessons were excellent. The coach chose the perfect time to go out into the ocean for me as a beginner. The atmosphere was very friendly. I had an unforgettable experience.

Amazing tutor and positive vibes - We had an amazing experience for my first time surfing! Our tutor was a great teacher with a lot of positive energy! He explained everything very well and helped step by step on how to surf properly! Definitely will surf again if I have the opportunity!

First time surfer taking private lessons - First time surfer at age 53. Did 4 private lessons over 4 days at Guincho and Carcavelos and had a blast. Pedro and Joao were great and both got me standing up and even catching waves myself on the last day. Carcevelos is also a great beginner spot. Andre the owner was super responsive on what app as well. Definitely recommend.
