May Day Trip 2025 - Really enjoyed our trip to Evora. Our driver / guide Diego was personable and friendly. We were given enough time to see all the highlights of Evora. Really enjoyed seeing the stone circle and bone church. This is an enjoyable day trip if wanting to get away from Lisbon.

Enjoyed seeing Evora -low key visit - We enjoyed our day with Diogo. He is very pleasant and informative without over stuffing us with info— but was always great with responding to questions. He took us to a dolmen and a stone circle off in pastures we would never find again! The time in Evora was good- wish we could have timed the visit to include St. Anthony because my husband loves churches, but Evora observes siesta hours, so that is a drawback in timing the Evora visit.

Amazing Sights and Excellent Guide - The group was small and cosy - there were only 8 of us including the guide. The sights were amazing. We saw architecture through the ages ( Stone Age to medieval to baroque ) and different cultures ( prehistoric to Roman, Moorish, Portuguese). Our guide, Joao Moraes, did a good job of explaining the history and background to the sights we saw. He also took good care of us and provided us with bottled water. When I sprained my ankle in the middle of the trip, he took the effort to locate a pharmacy nearby to pick up an ankle guard. He also dropped me off at my hotel which was located outside the usual route. Much appreciated! Thank you, Joao!

Megalithic wonder - Nuno was a very knowledgeable guide and provided alot of interesting information. It was nice to visit this smaller town with such rich history. My favorite part of the day was our visit to the stone circle in a beautiful field of cork trees...hard to imagine it's been there for 7000 years. It was a lovely day.

The city of Évora is very charming - The trip went well. Started with a pick-up at the agreed time. The driver / guide João was very nice and helpful. He knew historical facts and little stories. There was a certain change of plans due to a highway that is apparently blocked and prevents access to the main Cromeleque. Maybe you could put an explicit warning about this in the ad and description of the tour. But apart from that, everything was perfect.
