Experience Sintra with a knowledgeable local guide - We are thankful to Mauro for an amazing half day tour! He picked us up on time and was able to accommodate us with 3 kids. He was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from him. We enjoyed exploring Pena palace and other stops, our favourite was Cabo da Roca. This tour does not include lunch however Mauro picked up some local treats which was much appreciated and worth trying! Thank you for everything, great memories :) I would recommend this tour, it was easy to book and confirm.

Tour Sintra, Palacio da Pena, Quinta da Regaleira and Cabo do Roca - Tour of Sintra and surroundings. With departure and return to Lisbon. BEAUTIFUL! Mauro takes you to see Palacio de Pena in Sintra (the one that looks like a Disney castle) skipping all the lines. He then tells you about the fascinating Masonic history of the Quinta da Regaleira, before letting you go in and explore this farm with secret passages, underground caves and a stunning villa. Finally… it takes you to a secret beach near Cabo do Roca from which to enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the ocean. I forgot... breakfast in the morning and cod for lunch in a non-touristy place he knows. At the end of this experience you are richer in memories, colors and adventures, and what's more Maurito has become a friend. If you go to Lisbon, don't miss this experience!

wonderful day, even in the rain! - Mauro did a great job explaining the history of the area, he was flexible and creative. The weather was pretty bad (rain and a short hail storm!) but our guide stayed positive and offered great options.

Awesome for exploring Sintra's landscapes - Went with my girlfriend and had an amazing tour ride with Mauro, which is an amazing host and experienced tour guide! I can absolutely recommend for anyone who wants to explore Portugal's intimate landscapes.

A Tour Not To Be Missed 👍 - Mauro was a fun, informative Tour Guide and we visited some fantastic places as well as dined on authentic Portuguese Cuisine. I would happily recommend this Tour for anyone wanting a relaxed outing and knowledge of Portugal

Worst tour - We were treated horribly by Mauro. Mauro abruptly cancelled our tour after a couple of hours. He said we gave him “bad vibes”. My family is introvert and not the most chatty people. Plus, I was 17 weeks pregnant, jet lagged, fatigue, and nausea (he was made aware). He continued to talk over us, getting agitated, kept repeating that he’s losing money and said we could either stay in Sintra on our own or go back to Lisbon. We didn’t want to be left stranded so we decided to return to Lisbon. Once we arrived back in Lisbon, he demanded 30 euro in cash. Our day was ruined and I would stay away from this person at all cost.
