Busy and varied day - We had a fabulous day. Everything was very well organised and Ricardo was a great guide. Something for everyone, lots of sightseeing, lovely lunch and we even managed a quick dip at Cascais! Thank you!

Made the day unforgettable - Our Sintra tour with Rui was truly one of the highlights of our trip! He was fantastic — switching between Portuguese, Spanish, and English so naturally, making sure everyone in the group felt part of the experience. Rui has a great sense of humor and knows how to make history come alive. We loved how he shared not just facts but also personal stories and food recommendations that gave us a real taste of Portugal. Such a warm, funny, and friendly guide — we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Excellent - Our tour guide, Maria, was excellent. She knew her history and kept the tour moving at a comfortable but energetic pace. The bus was comfortable. We loved Sintra and all the places the tour took us.

Sintra is worth visiting - Sintra is worth visiting and the tour is a good way to see a few extra points of interest along the way. Rui, our tour guide, was friendly and open to questions. Nuno, our driver, navigated incredibly tight roads in a long bus.

Average care! - Bus driver and tour guide average, however, the audio support in the palace was below average! The reception from the other guide was much better!

Disorganized, Misleading, and Inconsiderate – the Gray lines - A Tour to Avoid - We booked the Grey Line Lisbon tour hoping for a comfortable, informative experience. What we got instead was confusion, poor planning, and complete disregard for guests’ needs—especially those with mobility issues. The tour began poorly: we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off in a parking lot, where we waited over 45 minutes for the buses to arrive. There was mass confusion and almost no communication from the Grey Line staff. Eventually, we boarded a packed bus and drove toward Pena Palace. We were told we’d be taken halfway up the mountain by bus—this part was overcrowded and uncomfortable. Once dropped off, we were forced to walk a steep uphill section to the palace entrance. After reaching the top, we then waited 30 minutes in a tight, crowded space before being allowed inside. The palace visit itself was just as disappointing. The guide, Mariza, gave very minimal information—first in Portuguese, then English—and once we got off the bus, she remained with the vehicle while we were left completely on our own to explore. She provided no history or explanation of the palace or its significance, which was a major letdown. After the visit, I asked where the bus was to take us back down the mountain, as she had originally stated. She told me flatly that no bus would be coming and that instead, she would lead us on a “shortcut” down the hill—claiming it would only take six minutes. I asked again if my wife, who has a bad knee, could take a bus instead. She said no. The walk down was steep, uneven cobblestone—treacherous and painful for my wife, and very difficult for anyone with mobility concerns. The guide showed no empathy or flexibility, and we felt abandoned and misled. To make matters worse, we had also been told that headphones would be provided so we could clearly hear the guide during the tour. These were never provided. Overall, this felt more like a disorganized shuttle service than a guided tour. If you value your time, comfort, or accurate expectations—avoid this company. This was a stressful and unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially seniors or those with any physical limitations.
