Go With Bruno! - Bruno was amazing driver and guide. Shortly after I booked, they reached out to me and we planned our day. He was always there to pick us up, gave us good tips on what to expect say, at the Pena Palace, and easily communicated via WhatsApp. Well worth doing a private tour! I would not advise trying to do Sintra, Cascais, the coast by yourself!

Tiago Ferrão provides an ELEVATED experience - Tiago showed up early in a suit and impeccably clean Mercedes. From the moment we left to the time we returned he was full of energy with gentleman manners. His knowledge of the region and history rivals a scholar. He made learning about this beautiful country so much fun!! After getting to know us, he recommended hotels for us to stay and restaurants for us to eat at the next time we come to Portugal that are tailored to our taste. He was respectful and kind to my girlfriend. He never rushed us and all of his recommendations along the way were top-notch. I cannot say enough good things about this tour.

An outstanding tour of Lisbon’s coastal regions - Our driver and guide was Miguel. He was a very courteous, concerned and totally obliging host.
As a driver he was exceedingly careful but confident.
As a guide he was exceedingly well informed and was able to provide informed asides on most sites visited.
He was careful to ensure we had whatever time we needed or desired at any site and never pushed or rushed us.
A total professional. I rate him as outstanding.
The vehicle was modern and well maintained.

Sintra Private Tour - My tour guide, Tiago, gave me an historical, cultural, and contemporary view of not only Sintra, Cascais, and Lisbon but of all of Portugal. My private tour was expensive but worth every penny. The tour went over the 8 hours promised but Tiago was determined to share his wonderful country with me. Thank you Tiago! Meg M. Washington DC

Go everywhere see everything with good people - Thiago took us everywhere. We wanted to PENA Palace. Regaleira. West coast. Cascais. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly told us some amazing history about Portugal.

The Perfect Sintra & Surroundings Tour - We had an absolutely fantastic day in Sintra thanks to Tiago. From the very beginning, he was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. He immediately put us at ease and was attentive to the needs of everyone in our group, even going out of his way to customise the tour for a member of our party with limited mobility. That flexibility made all the difference and allowed us to relax and enjoy the day fully.
Tiago’s recommendations were spot-on at every stop. In Sintra town, he guided us straight to the best queijadas and travesseiros, which were absolutely delicious. At Pena Palace, his insights brought the history and architecture to life.
For lunch he suggested a wonderful seaside restaurant with excellent food and beautiful views, a highlight of the day. Afterwards we visited Azenhas do Mar, a breathtaking cliff-top village, and then ended at the dramatic Cabo da Roca. The pacing was perfect.
Tiago has that rare ability to combine professionalism with the feeling of being shown around by a good friend. His knowledge, humour and kindness turned a great itinerary into an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful Guide, Limited Time at Key Stops - I recently took a private tour to Sintra and Cascais. While I found the price extremely high and honestly overpriced for the amount of time spent at each location, I have to highlight how wonderful my driver, Sergio, was.
Sergio was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make my experience special. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated that he took the time to take photos of me and even stopped at a few scenic spots that weren’t necessarily part of the original plan. His customer service was excellent, and he truly made the day fun and memorable.
That said, I felt very rushed throughout the tour, especially in Sintra. I only had about 45 minutes there, which wasn’t nearly enough time to enjoy one of the castles I absolutely loved. I ended up renting a car and going back on my own the next day just to experience it properly.
I understand that pricing is set by the platform (Viator) and not by Sergio himself, so this is no reflection on him. My suggestion for improvement would be to allow more time at key stops so guests don’t feel so rushed.
Thank you again to Sergio for making the most of the day and for his kindness and effort throughout the tour.
