Sintra-Portugal - Sintra is a charming historic city located in the Lisbon area, it is a perfect place to meet in a day or two itinerary from Lisbon, which is about 30 km from the city. Sintra has a picturesque, romantic and engaging atmosphere, a beautiful place surrounded by hills and forests that make the landscape even more similar to that of fairy tale movies. The main attractions that fascinate visitors to the city are the historic buildings, which include many castles, palaces, ruins and monuments. Starting a tour of the city centre, make sure to visit the National Palace of Sintra, an imposing Gothic building built in the 14th century, full of rooms that tell a bit about the origins of various peoples. Near the center of Sintra, visit Monserrate Palace, a very special place with beautiful architecture, rich in details inspired by the Indian palace, and the place is always surrounded by a fascinating garden. In one of the highest points of the city, in the Serra de Sintra, is located one of the most visited tourist sites, the Moorish Castle. The castle has an interesting history, its construction began by the Greek people around the eighth century, then was dominated by the Arab people for centuries, until it was reconquered by Portugal in the eleventh century. In addition to offering impressive views of the city from its vantage points, the castle also has outbuildings and ruins full of historical remains and an archaeological park to visit. On the other hand, many people in summer! Give priority to visits in the morning.

MARAVILHOSO LOCAL - The city's climate, with the history of the nobles/church, is found alive, in the Palacio da Pena, goes without a hurry, many details of architecture, nobles' houses, furniture, etc. Quinta da Regaleira, also, to carry out the journey of your life, study before the history of the place and prepare physically, I do not advise to go with children, worry little about photos, nothing will reproduce sensations and feelings, stop and enjoy like a good wine, Castle of the Moors, Cape of the Rock, National Palace of the Belt and others, if you have time, better walk around the city and take a wine alongside your friends or your company, MAGICO

Great attention to detail - Our guide Miguel was simply outstanding. He provided a lot of interesting details about each site we visited plus so much more. He is truly amazing. We’ve gone on many tours before and felt rushed but not with Miguel. He’s a safe driver and in the highest league of tour guides.

Excellent Day in Sintra - Our day in Sintra was a delight from start to finish and the guide, Pedro, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. We were traveling with our four daughters--ages 32 to 20--and everyone felt welcome and looked after. We would give this day-trip to Sintra our highest recommendation without qualification of any kind.

Amazing place and amazing guide. - Visit to Sintra was the highlight of our trip. Not only because it was the playground of the kings, but also because of informative and friendly guide, Alex, who made this excursion so much more special. He obviously loves Sintra and made us fall in love with it too. He took us to many interesting places, some of them were not on the general tourist map. He enhanced the tour with stories and facts which we found interesting and enjoyable. We would recommend Alex strongly to anyone wanting to get special experience in Portugal.

Visit to Sintra - Meeting our guide was a bit challenging but our tour guide Rita was very helpful, (thank God we had her number). Rita drove us around finding adequate parking and explained all about the history and buildings. We indeed skipped the line before entering a site, which was good due to the long line. Ended our tour with a low cost out of the beaten path stop for lunch including wine.
