Beautiful Evorah - A small group in a comfortable van with an amazing tour guide who provided information on places that we were just driving by as well as being a knowledgeable person who was able to transport us to centuries ago.

Great experience! - Great tour with our guide, Diogo. He and his family are from the area we visited and his knowledge and insight into the tour was fantastic. He was a safe driver and enthusiastic guide, eager to talk about history as well as current events related to the tour and Portugal in general. Can't say enough in favor, except if you are visiting the area, go on this tour! It will be time and money well spent. Speaking of that, the large tour groups are "commoditizing" the experience with large groups and low costs.... Don't fall for that!! Get a tour that is limited to 8 people or less and enjoy a much more intimate experience.

Exploring Evora's countryside - A wonderful day where we crossed over the "1974"bridge and git a flavor of agricultural Portugal. We weren't able to see the largest Cromlech due to a washed out road but we weren't able able to see another site and a funerary monolith. We had a lovely time in Évora seeing the Roman ruins, climbing to the top of the cathedral and then to the chapel of bones and the Franciscan church. Thiago was an accommodating and knowledgeable guide who gave us a relaxing and enjoyable day! I highly recommend this tour.

A pleasant visit to Evora - Wonderful experience from the start to finish, thanks to our driver/tour guide Diego who made the trip pleasant and informative. We were picked up from and dropped off at our hotel. We learned a lot about Lisbon while he picked up other guests. We also learned the history of Portugal and the city of Evora. We had a tasteful Portugal lunch based on his recommendation. Although the weather was not ideal today, we were happy that we made the trip.

A great day with a knowledgeable driver. - It was a big day. I would recommend that you take snacks. One of the best experiences I have had. I visited Evora 3 years ago and stayed for 4 days - I learnt more today in 1 day. Our driver was so knowledgeable and happily answered everyone's questions. We are two 70 year olds travelling with our 20 year old granddaughter (history nut uni student) and we can't stop talking about the experience. I wouldn't want to take small children on such a journey but for us it was perfect.

This was a nice tour.... - This was a nice tour. Something good to do when you spend several days in Lisbon. The megaliths were nice but a bit underwhelming. Evora is pretty, the Chapel of Bones and Church are beautiful. Overall, good experience but not something to do when you only have a short time in Lisbon. The guide was great.
