Cultural immersion and connection - Was so cool to meet Teddy, he’s such a genuine person full of knowledge and personality. Be prepared to walk a lot and meet lots of amazing people in the community! Definitely feel like I know the history and the people of Lisbon better.

Teddy's Amazing Multicultural Tour - We spent a wonderful night with Teddy Florea’s multicultural tour in Lisbon experiencing an off-the-path exploration of art, music, food, dance, and story of the ethnic diversity of Lisbon. On the neighborhoods walking tour, we saw amazing street art, sunset, and night vistas of Lisbon, experienced savory ethnic treats and local wines and liqueurs, and met some of Teddy’s many friends (well, really, extended family). We ended the night with a wonderful dinner and Fado show. If you want a much more enriched experience and exposure to the ethnic and cultural tapestry of Lisbon, and wish to meet great people with the same mindset, simply join Teddy's tour. Thanks so much Teddy for a great evening and introducing us to the amazing people and their stories of multicultural Lisbon!!!

A Thoughtful and Immersive Lisbon Experience - Is this redundant Teddy’s tour tells a story. Throughout the tour he weaves together the history of Lisbon, what is happening in the city today and parts of his own journey building a life and community here after spending many years as a foreigner. It becomes a beautiful story of becoming, both personal and cultural.
The experience is rich and layered, blending food tastings, historical context, art, and live music.
What I appreciated most is that Teddy takes you to places you wouldn’t know to look for, while offering thoughtful insight into the city and its people. Each stop adds something different, so the night never feels one note.
Teddy is also incredibly attentive and flexible to the needs and interests of the group. You can really tell how invested he is in making sure everyone has a wonderful experience.
Be prepared to experience Lisbon through the eyes of those who live there. This was easily one of the highlights of my trip. Book it. You won’t regret it!

Hidden Gems and Unforgettable experiences in Lisbon - We had an unforgettable tour with Teddy. The tour was scheduled for 3 hours but ran well beyond that and we enjoyed every moment with it. We have been to Lisbon many times but Teddy introduced us to many new places and experiences on his tour. He asked for our interests and preferences prior to the tour. Every one of them were reflected in the tour. He also included some unexpected experiences during the tour and we loved all of them. The tour was an outstanding that was worth well more than the cost. We will tour with Teddy again on future visits to Lisbon.

More than a tour: discovering the real Lisbon - Teddy is a charming and soulful host who takes you through the streets of his Lisbon. The experience moves between the most iconic tourist neighborhoods and the more local, popular areas that give the city its real pulse.
More than a simple cultural tour, it becomes a multicultural food journey where Teddy shares the historical, economic, and social realities that shape Lisbon today. He openly talks about issues such as housing pressures, the city’s past struggles with drugs, and how Lisbon has evolved and continues to face these challenges.
Teddy is clearly a passionate man — passionate about music, culture, and people — and he invites you into his world with a lot of heart, introducing you to his adopted family.
Having lived in Lisbon for ten years myself, I genuinely loved rediscovering my own city through his eyes, meeting the people who give life to these well-known neighborhoods, and ending the night dancing barefoot to the vibrant rhythm of samba.
A unique and human experience that goes far beyond a typical tour.

Becoming part of local community - Teddy made me bond with the city on another level. I felt like a part of a local family, and therefore I got to discover so many faces of Lisbon. Teddy's actions toward the culture and the community are very respectful and empathetic, so as a part of the tour I felt like my presence is not having bad impact on the environment but I contribute to the local culture.
I definitely recommend this tour for travellers who appreciate meaningful and authentic experiences.

The highlight of my time in Lisbon - The hype is 100% real on Teddy’s experience! Other reviewers are not exaggerating about how wonderful this evening is. For travelers looking to understand a slice of how Lisbon really is for those who live here, this is a must. It’s clear that Teddy puts his heart and soul into making this an experience that is great not just for us tourists but for the Lisbon locals that he introduces us to throughout the journey. Teddy is a master at creating communities, and it is a true privilege that he invites us to become part of his Lisbon family via this experience. I finished the evening with my heart and belly full, with a new appreciation for embracing the unknown that I hope to bring back to my everyday life. A Must Do Cultural Experience of Lisbon - Teddy oozes passion and love for the hidden gems of Lisbon. He took us on a VIP tour in the diverse cultural mosaic of Lisbon. We sampled multi ethnic food, music, art and met many wonderful people that hosted, served, cooked and entertained on our journey of Lisbon's multiethnic mosaic. All shared the same passion for Lisbon as well as a love and appreciation for our host-Teddy. Teddy went above and beyond the call of duty and was very sensitive to the needs of his guests. This experience was exemplary and should be a must for all visitors to Lisbon. Obrigato Teddy!

Cultural Immersion and Exploration - Teddy’s tour was the best I have ever attended after many decades of travel. This tour is for you if you like to get off the beaten path and immerse yourself in a neighborhood, from the food and drink to the arts and music. We listened to fado and Brazilian jazz. We went to hidden spaces. We heard stories of the characters who live (or lived) there. We ate not only pasties de nata but also samosas, a nutty appetizer in a community sports club, a breath cleanser from a Bangladeshi street vendor and Argentinian steak. But what I am most impressed with is how hard Teddy works to build a community and friendships. That is what I will remember long after I forget the delicious wines and treats.
