Dissapointing and unnecessary attitude from bus driver. - Lovely tour but just very upset why did the bus driver not even stop properly and open the doors for us to get on at bus stop #9!! And we called for him to stop and open but just simply ignored us. Totally unnecessary. And no, the bus was not full, we could see many empty seats in both bottom and top platforms.

Came away from Lisbon learning nothing about Lisbon!! Worst hop on hop off bus guide ever - Quite possibly the worst hop on hop off bus experience ive ever had in any city. When we bought the 48hr ticket we were not told that there would be many route closures on the 2nd day that was planned by Lisbon Council. We went to the aquarium but could not get back. Had to get a taxi. This also limited what we could do on the 2nd day. The audio on the bus wasn't very informative or accurate to where the bus was on the route. It was confusing! And for some of our group the audio inlet wasn't working...no matter which bus we got, some of us had no audio. Part of the package included a boat tour. But there was no guide to point out the sights or any history/meaning, so essentially we sat on a boat for 90 minutes with zero information. Very disappointing.

Hustling hop-on experience - Don't bother booking online - just walk onto the bus at pickup locations and pay on the spot . We had horrible experience on getting the ride when busses just drive by without stopping . Spent over 2 hours until we walk to another stop. Huge miscommunication between online maps and the actual physical maps we obtained. Due to the "city events" 4 stops were scratched off without any information provided online or over the phone. I wasn't planing on coming to Lisbon and deal with this mess. Use Yellow Bus city tours instead of Blue Cityrama. They are much better and run more often

Save your $$ - Save your $$. Very disorganized, long wait times at transfer stations. Very little narration and headsets did not work in several seats. If arriving by ship I suggest taking a taxi or walking to main transit terminal in a beautiful tiled building (2 miles) and taking metro or trolley into town.

This is NOT a Lisbon city tour. - My tour agent provided this tour and called it a half day Lisbon city tour. We did not see a single sight in downtown Lisbon. This was a half day tour of one district - Belem - including a lengthy stop at the Belem Tower, which is currently fully encased in scaffolding and is closed for refurbishment for several months. The start and end of the tour is at Marques de Pombal Square which is not convenient for most hotels or for downtown Lisbon. Basically the whole trip is a waste of time if you are familiar with Belem. Not recommended.

Shocking Company - Travelling with my elderly mother and my brother, we purchased the basic hop on/off tour. We had already independently been to Belem and just wanted to see a bit more on the other side (Blue Line) of where we were staying. Tickets were bought directly from the ticket office. We were offered no information as to where we should go, and it was chaos around the bus stops. Turns out that several different companies leave from the same place. You are hearded onto the busses, none too politely by completely disinterested staff. You then set off on what is supposed to be a SIGHTSEEING tour!!! Well, if you consider driving slowly through rundown areas on the equivalent of A-roads/motorways, then by all means, waste your money! The ONLY bit of actual sightseeing (and I use the term losely) was the Vasco Da Gama bridge. The 'tour' took close to two hours until the bus broke down by the zoo! We were left to find our own way back or opt to wait 30-50 minutes for the next tour bus to pass. This company is a horrendous tourist trap. Avoid like the plague! I expect the only reason they run this 'tour' is that it conveniently has its own stop by the cruise terminal. A £65 mistake which, regrettably left a bad taste after a super holiday in Lisbon.

To avoid!!! - 1- had to start every 25 minutes. We left after 1 hour. 2-was to be a shuttle bus that was to take us to point 1 but since the bus was full they decided to start the tour without Warn us and we left the bus at point 1 3- take a bus to continue the tour, which took about 5 minutes. 4- the bus was almost full we were sitting downstairs which we do not like and in addition we were separated. 5- very boring red line, no interest. 6- 1st and last time with Gray Line. I go continuous with the company Hop On Hop Off!!!

Horrible - The tour was in 4 languages so you got maybe one sentence about a place and then they moved on to another language. The 2 photo sites were pretty. The guide was monotone and so unengaged. At the monetary we weren't told how to get tickets and by the time we figured it out we had to leave. It turns out the church is free to enter but was under renovations which was also not shared with us at the time. The national Palace was not worth the time or money. All in all a very frustrating and unsatisfactory tour. I would avoid this tour.
