Excellent experience and introduction to the history and culture of Lisbon - Excellent experience and introduction to the history and culture of Lisbon as shaped by Portugal's role as a provider and recipient of global influence. Our guide, Dani, was knowlegable and engaging and did a wonderful job navigating the city to keep the walk enjoyable. The food and drink offerings were delicious, thoughtful (including accommodating different dietary restrictions), and well-proportioned.

So much fun! - We had an awesome time on this tour! And we loved Dani so much. She was bright, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and just so much fun to hang out with. I learned so much about Lisbon and her rich history because it wasn't told in a 'boring' way like many tours do. Highly recommend!

Six out of five stars if you get Dani. - We were fortunate to have Dani as our guide. We especially appreciated the excursion into Mouraria (the Moorish quarter). Dani offered deep context what we were experiencing, as well suggestions for further exploration.

Love this tour! Duarte is a wonderful guide :) - We had a great time on this food tour. Highly recommend. Duarte was an excellent guide. As a Lisbon native he knows this food and culture and you can tell how much he loves to share it with others. The highlight was definitely our visit to Sr. Antonio to taste his delicious Ginjinha. We also loved our stop at Cantinho do Aziz so much we returned for a meal later in the week. What a wonderful experience!

Fun tour with great guide - We did the Food and Culture walking tour on our first full day in Lisbon. It was a lot of fun, and our guide Dani was great. She had a good combination of historical knowledge, pride in Portugal, relationships with the food vendors, and people skills. We had five stops with tastings of traditional food and drinks. Some of the places were not the "usual suspects" but seemed more authentic than what we would have found on our own. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience! - Our guide Duarte was a total delight. We spent 3.5 hours walking through alleys and roads of historic Lisbon with 5 other couples. There were 5 stops total with lots interesting commentary on Lisbon history and culture along the way. Each stop was unique and introduced us to a wide variety. Highly recthis experience!

Excellent history walk through Lisbon - Pedro was an excellent guide. He shared much knowledge about the history of Portugal and the customs…and sprinkled humor throughout the tour. His Fado is the best! Would highly recommend this walking food tour while in lisbon!

Great Lisbon food tour - Duarte was a great guide - full of information, energetic, personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We’re vegetarian and adaptations were made, but it would be nice if there could be a vegetarian Lisbon food tour.
