A true must-do! - I had such an amazing time on this Portuguese food tour in Lisbon. From the very beginning, everything felt warm and genuine. Being welcomed into a local setting made the whole experience incredibly authentic — it didn’t feel like a typical tour at all.bOur guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, sharing stories about Portuguese culture, food, and everyday life, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious, and each stop felt carefully chosen to show a real local side of Lisbon. It was honestly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my trip and without a doubt the highlight of my time in Lisbon. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic and different. A true must-do!

I Highly recommend it ! - Trying different local foods while walking around Lisbon was quite a discovery ! Rafael made the whole experience really relaxed and enjoyable, and you could tell he genuinely loves sharing Portuguese food and culture. We stopped at a few local spots and everything we tried was delicious. It was a great mix of discovering the city and tasting authentic food along the way.

Great food tour and host - Rafael really knows food! A great guide and an amazing tour, combining a walking tour with Rafael pointing out notable historical and cultural sites, along with several restaurants offering up terrific food & drink. We had migas with braised pork (not pictured), a cod croquette, a shrimp empanada (? - not sure what this is called in Portuguese), the famous bifana sandwich, sardines, some delightful wine and sangrias, and rounded out the tour with a pastel de nata with coffee. Be sure you’re hungry, because this is a very filling and satisfying tour. Obrigada, Rafael! 5 stars!

Excellent taste of Lisbon - Excellent food tour with Rafael as my guide. I got his full attention as I was the only one on the tour and in that I was a bit disappointed as I was unable to share the experience with others. Rafael showed what he thought were the best venues to get the most authentic foods during my visit. Excellent tour!

Would do again! - Rafael was such a fun host! Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We felt like we not only got to try lots of different kinds of local cuisine, but also learned lot about the city and the different sections of Lisbon. At the end of the tour he went above and beyond, helping us plan our last 2 days in Lisbon.

Delicious food throughout the city - Rafael was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed delicious food throughout Lisbon. He was friendly and knowledgeable and showed us a variety of areas of the city. We are grateful for the experience.

A real WALKING food tour. - The food is great, but be prepared to do a LOT of walking. I’m sure this could be avoided if specified ahead of time, but we covered 6.5 miles and we were very tired at the end. Rafael was an amazing guide- he turned a normal food tour into a trek through the entire city. We got to see a lot of things we otherwise never would have, and were grateful for that! With that said, we’re tired!

Disappointed - We asked for an English speaking guide, and although Jafael was charming, he couldn’t speak much English so we really couldn’t talk about the culture or the origins of the food or the history of Lisbon. The choice of locations seemed disorganized. He changed his mind several times about where he was taking us. We didn’t understand the confusion because we thought food tour guides booked so that we could get in and out easily. At least the past few tours we’ve been on the restaurant had already reserved a table for us and were expecting us. It was quite expensive for the tour and we can only compare it to a different tour in Madrid. Our guy there was very organized and even had photos to show us of the history of the area and cost less money and it had more value in terms of the food served. The Madrid experience was organized, informative, and had better and more food.

Guide did not show up! - No guide showed up at meeting place! We came early and stayed 15 minutes past meeting time.
